Sixth house from the ocean’s edge, it is a quick walk to the beach from our lovely home. The second floor of our duplex has its own private driveway and entrance, its own back porch area and full access to large private back patio.
Perfect for a family of four with a master bedroom and two twin beds in the other bedroom with living room space for an additional guest. Handmade cypress and cedar paneling surround the walls, providing a beautiful setting to relax inside. Even the bathroom is paneled in honey-toned cypress, giving you the feeling of being in a boat. You have the choice of showering indoors or using a spacious outdoor shower. A fully equipped kitchen provides the opportunity to cook delicious meals on the new stove or you may prefer grilling outside on the new Weber grill. Enjoy eating meals either inside or outdoors while you keep shaded from the sun under an umbrella. A large back patio is equipped with three comfortable, handmade chaise lounges along with additional seating. The backyard, surrounded by beautiful pine trees, is a great place to relax when you return from the beach. There are vintage bicycles you can borrow if you wish to take advantage of the great cycling available on the island.

Guests enjoy their own private apartment on the second floor of the house. A private entrance is accessed off of the back patio. Three cars can fit in the side driveway, which is provided to guests for their use.

Please note that we only rent by the week from Sunday to Sunday for the months of June, July, and August. During Sept and Oct, we rent a minimum of three nights.
We do not permit pets. No smoking is allowed.
During June, July, August, and early September, we only rent on a weekly basis. During September and October, the minimum stay is three days.
Our beach house has been owned by our family since the 1950's. There is usually a family member staying on the first floor who is available to help answer any questions.
