Spacious and cheerful private studio, bath with shower, with separate garden entry, 5 steps down with high ceilings in a beautifully remodeled Dutch colonial on a quiet tree-lined street in Central Alameda....amenities include a mini kitchen with microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, mini-fridge/freezer and dishware. Queen bed sleeps 2 adults and the Full size futon is good for one or two extra adults or 2 children.
This studio has a queen-size bed and dressing area at one end and a living/dining space at the other. The 50” wall-mounted TV (basic cable and Blue- Ray) swivels to accommodate both. The refrigerator, microwave, small toaster oven and coffee-maker (stocked with coffee, tea, cocoa, snacks and oatmeal) permit simple meals. The sofa opens (with our help) to a full-size high quality futon bed large enough for two children or an adult couple( who are under 6 feet tall for maximum comfort due to its design), and the table and chairs will seat four. The bathroom has a spacious shower but no tub. There seating in the garden for you to enjoy.
Servicios y zonas comunes
The studio is your private space with its own garden entrance with a keypad lock entry. After parking your car ( if you have one) in our driveway, walk to the back of the drive, pull the rope to open the gate and your entry door is on the right. I will message you the code for the door the day before your arrival. The garden is shared with us.

I am a professional classical violinist and my husband, David, is a residential architect, both of us East Coast transplants. We have two wonderful teenage daughters and enjoy puttering in the garden. There are five steps down to access this private studio within our fully remodeled Dutch Colonial. Both of us work in San Francisco and love coming back to the beautiful and peaceful island of Alameda each day. We enjoy traveling and meeting new people and look forward to welcoming you to our home!
