Located above our restaurant and bar Northern Union, this newly renovated space will put you in the middle of everything Ogunquit has to offer. Private parking for up to three cars, steps to the Marginal Way & Perkins Cove. This apartment is perfect for four adults and two kids in the bunk room. Note that we suggest no more than 4 adults for maximum comfort. The bunk bed room is meant for people traveling with children, and is not recommended for adults. No Bachelor/Bachelorette parties.
This space was a three bedroom apartment above our newly renovated and opened restaurant, Northern Union. We have recently completed a total renovation of the space (new granite kitchen, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, tile bath and shower, new windows and lighting). The location has off street parking for up to three cars, and a private rear entrance via a private deck. The door opens to a renovated kitchen, stainless appliances, and cozy beach-inspired living room. The bathroom is off the living room and features a tiled tub/shower. One of the two back bedrooms has a king sized bed, the other a queen. The front bedroom (off the living room) features a bunk bed for kids. While the space can sleep six, we would only recommend this as a great stay for two couples (four adults) and two kids (for the bunk room).
PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT a good spot for your bachelor/bachelorette party. We are on the property every day, and will know if the loft is being used for such an event. If you are looking for a place for a party, we suggest some of the larger hotels/resorts that are set up to handle large groups.

You will have full access to the apartment, the patio out back and the private deck. You may see our talented chef and staff arrive during the day, but we will keep kitchen operations inside, and noise to a minimum. No employee of Northern Union smokes, so there won't be any of that to worry about...

Your hosts are the owners of the bar and restaurant Northern Union. We will be at the restaurant pretty much every night, and will be available to assist you if need be, either with a recommendation for what to do in town or a nice wine pairing should you decide to join us downstairs at the restaurant.

Note that the kitchen of the restaurant is located below the two rear bedrooms. While you won't hear any noise from the kitchen staff, you may hear a low hum (similar to white noise) from the building's kitchen hood system. Our kitchen also has swinging doors coming to and from the dining room. You will hear dull "thumps" from these doors swinging open and closed throughout the night. We have stayed in the unit during this time and did not find the noise to be distracting, especially when the TV is on, or people are talking. These sounds will ease when the kitchen closes nightly around 10pm and the system is turned off.
We provide parking for up to THREE cars, parked one behind the other. We cannot allow more than three cars at any point in your stay. By booking with us, you agree to this requirement. Parking in Ogunquit is not an easy thing to come by. Please plan accordingly. No exceptions, as we operate a restaurant that requires the additional parking spaces.
•The loft and the surrounding property is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed in the loft, on the deck or on the grounds. If someone in your group smokes, there is a “smoker’s pole” near the ramp on the deck in the front by the restaurant. Smoking in or around the unit will void your security deposit.
•We want you to have a great time. We also want our residential neighbors to have a great time as well. Please keep the noise down after 10pm, as there is a noise ordinance in this part of town that the police are very happy to enforce.
•Please try and keep any beach sand at the beach. Get as much off as possible before re-entering the unit. Do NOT use the washer and dryer to remove sand from clothes and towels. Evidence of sand in the washer or dryer will void your security deposit.
•You will notice there is a fire alarm pull by the front door. This is because you are above a restaurant. If you pull this, it will set off the entire building, and an automated call will summon the fire department. Please do not pull this alarm unless there is a fire. If you burned toast or a roast, just open the door and windows, and use the fan above the microwave. False alarms will void your security deposit, as it may cause the restaurant to lose revenue.
•The lights on the deck are set to come on at sunset and will automatically shut off around midnight.
•The washer and dryer are here for your use. Please use only the detergents provided. They are high efficiency appliances, and require less than the normal amount of detergent.
•Please use the cutting boards provided and do not cut anything on the counter or the table.
•No candles or open flame allowed at any time in the loft. Fire=bad.
What to expect from down below…
•You are above our restaurant. You will hear minor noises from time to time during our operating hours (usually 4pm to about 11pm, and Sundays from 10-2pm). Dull thumps from our kitchen door opening and closing will be the most common, and hums (like white noise) from our kitchen equipment will be the extent of it. These will cease when the restaurant closes. We find that keeping the window units on will drown out many of these noises.
•There are trolley stops across Shore Road (in front of the Grand Hotel) and just to the north on this side of Shore Road. Perkins Cove is a 10-minute walk south on Shore. The beach can be reached by walking north on Shore. It is about a 15-20 minute walk. You can access the Marginal Way at it’s ½ way point, by walking up Stearns Road until it dead-ends at the ocean (5 minute walk).
•TV and Volume. The TV is hooked to a Sonos Soundbar. Use the Sony TV Remote to control the volume.
•The Wireless Network is “Northern Union Guest" and the password (which you will enter upon opening an internet browser) is "Superfine"
