At Bighorn View Estate you can play tennis on your own private tennis court, and you won't get 'blown away' by a sandy desert Scirocco. That's because the Magnesia Falls Cove is one of the few coves protected from the wind on 3 sides by the lovely San Jacinto Mountains. Take a swim in the private swimming pool, or relax in your secluded hot-tub, resting just outside your Master Bedroom. Take the chill out of the desert night and relax on the cozy seating anchored by a warm fire table. You have a full kitchen, so maybe staying in for the night and pay-per-viewing a movie is the way to go. If you choose to invite some friends over, there is no better place to entertain. Guests can be screened at your own Private iron gates. Then you can greet them as they come up the 25 foot wide stairway to the Estate entrance. Try that at your Hotel!

This is a unique and wonderful home. It's size, location and private tennis court make it ideal for groups or special events. Perfect for birthdays, retirement party, reunion, music festival, holidays, bachelorette party, golf or tennis weekend, etc. Renting a private home for a special occasion can be the perfect solution for some events. Giving up resort amenities can be compensated by privacy, tranquility and a truly unique experience. Please specify if you are interested in this home for a special event and you will be given a rental quote based on the scope of your event and the number of guests attending. ***Price Ranges are as follows:

Number of guests: 18 - 100maximum.
Rental Rate: as listed up to $2,500 per night with 3 night minimum.
Special Event Permit Fee: $150 - $550.
Refundable Security Deposit: min $1,500 up to $2,500 maximum.***

Keep in mind when considering renting this home, that this neighborhood cherishes its peacefulness. It is not a party town destination for young people. We welcome respectable renters that will ensure the tranquility of the community is maintained. The city of Rancho Mirage has a 10pm Noise Ordinance. Therefore, all events must end by 10pm. Please consider this when choosing this location for your event.

- No damage to property and its belongings beyond normal wear and tear.
- No Smoking or any evidence of smoking.
- No Pets or any evidence of pets.
- Pool Heat is optional. Cost for pool heat is $300 Extra Services Fee. If pool heat is enabled by guest without permission from the Host and not pre-paid by arrival date, $300 will be withheld from the Security Deposit.
- Early and/or Late Check-Out can be arranged. Extra Services Fee may be required.
- $300 fine for Late Check-Out that is not pre-arranged.
- $400 re-key fee for lost keys.
- $200 fee per person for undeclared overnight guests.
- $500 fine for violation of 10pm Noise Ordinance if city personnel arrive at the property plus cost of any city fines incurred as a result.

- Special Events or large private parties are only allowed with permission from the Host and the City of Rancho Mirage. A Special Event Permit is required for parties with over 18 people, day or night, at an additional fee. Any parties held on the property with over 18 guests without prior approval from the Host and without a city permit will result in one or more of the following: no refund on security deposit, immediate expulsion from the property, no refund on rental.

***Upon conclusion of cleaning and inspection, the security deposit will be refunded to the Guest within 7 days of check-out. Any damages or infractions of House Rules and/or Rental Contract will be disclosed to the Guest and the appropriate expense will be withheld from the security deposit. Guest is 100% responsible for following House Rules and/or Rental Contract and all damage, charges incurred, fines, lost, broken, stolen, or missing items during their stay.***

House is very nice and the other reviews are mostly accurate. But the property managers will apparently do everything in their power to claim you broke the rules and then try to coerce you into paying them exorbitant and unreasonable sums of money. Our group made a mistake with the check-out time, and were a bit late leaving. But we allowed them to come in and start cleaning other areas, and apologized profusely for the confusion and did our best to leave as quickly as possible once we recognized the situation. They were friendly at the time and said no problem. 8 hours later they try to bill me $300 for a late check out. This is in addition to the $1915 I paid for two nights rental with an already obscene $400 cleaning fee. When I declined, they tried to pile it on further by claiming I was also potentially on the hook for a $300 early check-in fee. (They asked me to check-in at 2 pm, but couldn't due to prearranged golf tee times, so asked if I could instead swing by at either 12:30 pm to pick up keys or check in after golf. They happily agreed to 12:30 without any mention of a $300 penalty). After I expressed my shock and unwillingness to pay, the manager piled it on even further with a claim that we owed another $106 for a "burned" carpet, which was impossible and completely untrue. They also lied about having to hire additional staff to accommodate the next guests arriving. (There were no guests arriving as the crew were buttoning up the house and storing furniture) Pure greed and unprofessional in my opinion...use caution when considering this property. Shame because it was ALMOST a 5-star trip too.

Miles Huck's claims are false. He simply violated the terms of the contract he read and signed and as a result, his violations incurred additional expenses to the owner and damage. Miles is not happy we are holding him responsible for the terms of the contract and the damage that he and his group of 16 men caused. This property is an estate located in a mature resort neighborhood. It is not a fraternity house.

Stayed here with five couples and our respective 15 month old babies and had a terrific weekend. First, the house is very family friendly and has toys, pack n plays, and a great room that doubles as an excellent play room (carpeted and large). Each bedroom is basically its own suite and is very private. I stayed in the mater bedroom and did not hear the other babies when they got up at different times-which was great. Second, the house has got everything you need-- kitchen supplies, pool toys, racquets, big TV, tunes, grill, etc. Other than getting your groceries-- you don't need to leave the house the entire weekend. (We didn't) Third- the property managers, Rocio and Josh, were very responsive to my many questions beforehand, were totally flexible when we needed to change checkin-checkout times due to our toddler's nap schedules, and gave us a nice tour when we got there- and then left us alone to enjoy the house. If you have a lot of people in the house and you're cooking a lot, the kitchen is a bit small. But it's totally functional and stocked. Final thoughts-- if you're looking for a place to host family or friends-- this is an amazing option! We would definitely come back!!

We were greeted with a nice care package and cheerful host. The house perfectly accommodated our three families and was both secluded and yet well situated near amenities. Great experience. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

What a great place! 8 of us stayed here for my 30th birthday celebration. Rocio was always communicative and went over-and-beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable one. The day we arrived severe winds sent the patio furniture everywhere as well as debris from the shrubs and tree in the pool-- the following day Rocio had the cleaning crew out to ensure that everything was as it had been prior to the winds. If it is possible, the place is even better in person-- the pictures really don't do it justice and we were very excited about the pictures as the trip date neared... Thanks again for your hospitality!!

The kids love it down there and Grandma loves the fact her Grandkids are in town quite frequently now.
