A good, clean, practical apartment. Good sized bedroom, living room, and kitchen, especially by NYC standards. Good closet space. Bathroom is small but functional. The apartment is furnished with an antique full sized bed, dresser, chest, and desk. The couch in the living room is has a pull out bed. Internet is provided. There is a TV but not a great cable (website hidden) in the living room and bedroom. Washer and dryer in the basement. A good apartment to come back to after a day in the city.
2 to 4 people can comfortably fit.
Looking for month long rentals.

The guest will have access to the entire apartment.

More than likely there will be very little interaction at the apartment if any.

The apartment is located in a great Washington Heights neighborhood. Jay Hood Park is across the street. There are beautiful views of the George Washington Bridge from this park. Bike paths and the Hudson River are minutes away.
The Cloisters is 15 blocks north, 2 subway stops. This rebuilt medieval monastery and art museum is part of the Metropolitan Museum.
If you don't feel like heading downtown for restaurants and bar hopping, the you can hit some places on Broadway, a block away. A few blocks further north is 181st Street with terrific bars and restaurants such as 181 Cabrini and Saggio. On the corner of Fort Washington and 181st is Hudson View, an excellent diner.

Excellent location with the 175th Street Stop for the A Express subway train. It is only two blocks away, 5 minutes away on Fort Washington Ave. From there, Times Square is 20 to 25 minutes away.
The 1 Train is also very close, located about 5 minutes away on 168th Street and Broadway.
It is also easy to get in and out of the city with the George Washington Bridge 5 blocks away.
There are parking garages on Broadway, between 175 and 176 street. It is also a Zipcar location.
If you don't feel like paying for parking, then there is parking on the street in front of the building but you have to read the signs to make sure when and if you can park there.

Gracias!!!

Jeff's home felt like your own home, it was very warm and cozy and transportation to and from everywhere was easy and nearby. The neighborhood was also great and there are alot of mom and pop grocery stores and eateries. The only thing missing is a microwave as it was difficult to heat up leftovers but we definitely recommend Jeff's place and I would stay there again :) thank you Jeff!

Jeff is laid-back, helpful, flexible and upfront. Everything you want in a host. I stayed with my brothers for July and August in Jeff's cultured and very pleasant apartment and had a great summer. The place was clean, quiet, well-furnished and close to everything you need, restaurants, supermarkets and the A / C train line. Laundry downstairs. Great Wifi. Nice neighbourhood, apartment block is insulated from the street and there is a fantastic park for kids right outside. All in all, couldn't ask for a better place to be and no question would book again. If you find yourself renting this property, you're lucky I didn't beat you to it!

Jeff made sure that we felt right at home even before we arrived, it was perfect for us.......clean, neat & cosy. he gave us great advice on the neighbourhood. the listing is very accurate. the subway was super convenient & the station has an elevator which made travelling with a baby stroller much easier.

We stayed at Jeff's place for a week. It was cozy, and was near the metro stations. Jeff left us chocolates and coffee to enjoy, and two passes to the metropolitan museum, which we really appreciated. The neighborhood was nice too, peaceful and quiet. It was an ideal place for relaxing after a long day exploring the city. Thank you Jeff, for making our trip in NYC such a great experience.

I love Jeff's place! It's huge by NY standards, very comfy, and right by the subway. It was very clean and the neighborhood was safe. Lots of stores and restaurants around. Jeff was also extremely nice and helpful. I had an amazing time in the city. I would definitely recommend staying here ^^
