The Secret Panel chamber, overlooking a tidal marsh and creek, is in a 1699 house. With antique heirlooms and artwork, it's an authentic experience of old Cape Cod. A very short walk to the village shops, restaurants, gristmill, and Sandwich Glass Museum. A longer walk to the beach, canal, more restaurants, and museums. Open the secret panel to the Revolutionary War escape route. Sit by 1749 paneling and fireplace. We don't offer coffee or breakfast-there are many great restaurants/cafes nearby.
- Light drinking is fine, but drunkeness isn't. The room is for two people not three.
I am a children's book author and illustrator. I love visiting elementary schools and giving writers workshops or presenting how a book is created. My husband and I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. What I love about meeting the travelers and vacationers on Cape Cod is that they are having a wonderful, happy time.
