Great location and neighborhood if want to be in Crown Heights near the Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Gardens with trains nearby. Jack is a super responsive, helpful, nice host! Keep in mind it is a 3rd floor walk up (2 flights up); and is a small railroad-shaped apartment with limited decor.

Very excellent value for price. We had a little trouble with the lockbox upon entry, but other issues were resolved quickly. We had a baby, and I am not sure I would recommend staying there if you have a stroller/car seat, etc, because it is a 3rd floor walkup with not much space on first floor to leave things. Older kids or adults is great though. Very convenient to excellent bars/food, etc on Franklin Street and SUPER easy to get to Manhattan!

Jack & Zack were really great hosts! Their place was so stylish clean and comfortable! It's got a Great kitchen w/ fabulous French press for smooth coffee and all the appliances & central air worked perfectly! It's a very NYCish area as PARK SLOPE Brooklyn gives one the feel of NYC with the friendliness and charm of Brooklyn. Lots of outdoor fun around way too much to see in the 4 days we were there. Everything & everywhere is walkable. Some truly awesome bistros and eateries even deliver to your door! We had the best time and would stay there again in a New York minute!

We had a great stay in Jack's apartment. Great location in Brooklyn, close to all the beautiful parks, library, Museum and Botanical Gardens with amazing eating options close by. The apartment was clean, spacious and air-conditioned. Jack and Zack were wonderful hosts!

The apartment is excellent - very clean and well decorated with everything you need for your stay. Especially appreciated how well the air conditioner kept the space feeling refreshing. The location is convenient to lots of great restaurants as well as a subway stop. We also loved exploring nearby Prospect Park! The only negative was that the street noise ended up being a bit too noisy for my preference - Saturday night there was a ton of yelling and arguing/fighting on the staircase/hallway for about an hour followed by loud music in the building but it was a weekend night in Brooklyn, so what can you really expect, I figured. Sunday we got unlucky with noise again with an insane annual party (Memorial day weekend) on the street with awful music and loud bass that shook the whole apartment until finally rain ruined the party just before midnight. For someone unfamiliar with the location arriving home late in the evening from a wedding with a toddler, it was intimidating and didn't feel as safe as I would have liked with people everywhere lining the street. Our Uber driver even questioned if We had the right address. For context, we have lived in NYC before as well as several years in downtown Los Angeles, so we are not unfamiliar with city street noise. I think we just got unlucky with some extreme noise over a holiday weekend as this was not an issue for any of the other reviewers. Jack was great and very responsive and came down to see what the party was and confirm that it would be wrapping up not too late (the rain ended up solving the problem by midnight). All in all, a good weekend stay, just a bit noisy.

I'm a young professional born and raised in bklyn, I love to travel around the world and I enjoy hosting when I'm home. I always use Arbnb when I travel so I known how it feels staying with a good host that's why I make sure my guest feel at home when they stay with me.
I hope to meet you in person and make you feel at home.
