Great for a family looking for a quieter location away from Duval Street. Julia and her colleagues were extremely responsive and easy to work with. The building has a great pool and outdoor spaces. The unit may be a little dated for some people's taste but it's large, totally serviceable, and the AC works great!

Quiet part of key west which we enjoyed. The condo decor is too dated! 1980s theme! Floor not clean. Sand on feet. Pots and pans are rag tag. No handles. Old. Even spatula didn't have a handle. Old used sponges in the kitchen. The tv in the living room the size of a computer screen! Really?! Owner needs to put some $$ into unit to rent. I guess that is why it was available for last minute booking. Liked staying at 1800 atlantic but would book a different condo

Thanks for your feedback. We will forward to the Owner. The unit is priced a lot less than some other renovated units however the cleanliness and broken items will certainly be addressed.

The unit was really beautiful and spacious with a great view. The resort has a pool and a nice jacuzzi. We loved our stay! The beach is nice, but not the best to swim (Key West in general). If you need anything, Julia has a maintenance team to help. However, some negative points are important to share: - the checkout is at 10am.. - we think that the cleaning fee is a bit high for everything that is required for the guests to do. Basically 90% is done by the guests before leaving. We always clean the apartments before leaving, but we think that asking the guest to remove all the sheets from beds and wash them, as well as for the towels. Same for the dishwasher. And Charging extra loads for 20 per load. Knowing that the clients have to clean most of the apartment and leave at 10 am while the check in is at 4pm is something to review.

Thanks for your review. I'm sorry there must have been some Miscommunication as what we ask you to do before check out should really take less than 5 minutes. The washer/dryer is full size so we ask you start a load l, start the dishwasher and take out your trash. Due to the size of the units they take - good 4 hours to clean so by starting a load it will save gr cleaner some time. Unfortunately Air B & B does not give us the ability to break down the fee so it seems you have to pay $215 for cleaning. In fact $75 of this is a registration fee that is charges by the Condo Association for every unit that stays at 1800 whether it be a day a week or a month. I am glad you enjoyed your stay.

This unit worked well for our family. Smathers beach is 100 yards from the front of the property; this is probably the nicest beach on the island, and it's great for kids to paddle board or kayak on. The pool here is great- lots of chairs and umbrellas available, depth ranges from 3 to 9 feet, and the pool is well maintained. Overall the property is very quiet- not someplace you would want a large gathering or party type atmosphere. Bikes can be rented just down the street, and bikes are by far the best way to get around the island. The views from the balcony are nice, and the outside grounds seem well-maintained. The downside is that the unit itself is very dated (think 1982), and is in need of some minor maintenance and updates. This is not to say that there were major problems, just be ready to see acres of fluorescent lights overhead in the kitchen and a tube TV on the dresser. Julia is responsive and easy to reach, and we did not have any trouble getting into a lockbox for after-hours access. The unit was clean on our arrival, and there was a sufficient supply of sheets, towels, plates, etc. Parking is provided- there is a garage space or an outdoor lot if your vehicle doesn't fit in the garage. The unit does have a washer and dryer in-suite, which is a huge bonus for anyone traveling with a family. I would certainly stay on this property again, although I would probably look for a more up-to-date unit.
