Descripción

This village house is close to many area attractions. It is a short walk from both the general store and the public beach on beautiful Caspian Lake. Other Greensboro highlights: Hill Farmstead Brewery, hiking and ski trails, miles of scenic walking and biking possibilities. You’ll love our place because of the cozy farmhouse feel and accessibility to all that the Northeast Kingdom has to offer to couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with children.

This home was the original farmhouse for Lauredon Farm which was until 1972 a large working dairy farm in the village of Greensboro. The house has been updated and renovated over the years with the integrity of it's farmhouse roots in mind. We hope you enjoy this cozy and beautiful space as much as we do!

You will have access to the first and second floor of the house with the exception of the one room marked private. You are also welcome to utilize the outside space with the exception of the barn and the garage. There is a great little sledding hill for the kiddos in the side yard!

We live next door and manage the property. Please let us know if we can be of any help.

The house is located in "downtown" Greensboro. That consists of a general store, post office, library and public beach.

You will need a car to navigate this area. There is no public transportation available. Bikes, skis, and boats welcome!

There is no cell phone service in Greensboro, so plan accordingly. There is wifi available at the house and a land line for local calls and emergencies.

Staying at Michele's place in Greensboro was the single best decision we made for our ski trip in Vermont! The house is awesome and you really feel at home. No hesitation possible if we come back next year...

The house is in a beautiful setting in Greensboro and the fall foliage around the town was amazing. Michele left us tasty scones for our arrival with good info on the area. Very nice rustic farm house with comfortable kitchen, living room and bedrooms. The location was great with walking distance to the general store and the lake. Easy access to great road cycling and a short beautiful drive to Hill Farmstead brewery. We had a wonderful time.

Loved the farmhouse!!! Michele was very nice and helpful about what to see and do in the area. Evan though the house itself sits in a rural town with no cell service (turn on WiFi calls) (or enjoy the peace) the house has WiFi, and GPS worked all the way. Just be sure to map you destination before you leave. We stayed a full week and already looking forward to staying longer on our next trip. The town is small with the local store less than a block away (Willy's has everything you want or need) Post office is directly across street. Local wildlife and stars at night. Thank you Michele

Lovely, roomy large house, quite rustic but very clean and comfortable with very adequate kitchen and bathroom (not the high-end renovation type). Hospitable hosts who provided clear instructions and kindly supplied some essential food items for the arrival. We loved the village and the nearby (less than 5 minute walk) wonderful general store, art gallery and large village beach/picnic area. Very restful. Cellular phone transmission can be quite problematic in the area (and in the house) if you need to be reachable by mobile phone.

The house is amazing. It's a huge gorgeous farm house in walking distance of the country store and lake. Michele and her husband were great. The kitchen is every cooks dream kitchen. Only downside was no cell service but the house had WiFi so we survived. Super close to Hill Farmstead Brewery. Great spot to get away for a while.
