Thank you for your review and for notifying us of the issues with the ants, the odor and air conditioning upon your arrival.
It seems we had the perfect storm which was exacerbated by the A/C malfunctions and the weather which set off the climate for ants, odors due to having to close up against the rain and issues with the pool due to debris and rain.
Regarding the ants – as indicated in our welcome email, unfortunately during particularly rainy or hot weather, ants tend to find shelter or cooler climates indoors. We did send our maintenance to spray and although we do our best to ensure that they do not gain access or the situation is rectified quickly the weather being as rainy and cloudy as it was does tend to exacerbate the problem. We do leave bug spray but guests that do not like the chemical sprays tend to throw them out.
Regarding the pool, unfortunately and again due to the torrential rains and debris we had in days prior to your visit, this resulted in the pool deteriorating quickly and it unexpectedly took longer to balance the chemicals. We understand your frustration with this and we apologise for the inconvenience.
As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you a refund of $200 to thank you for your understanding. We are sorry that the property was not to your satisfaction and did not meet our high standards on this occasion however we do hope that you return to Bermuda and visit our lovely island again.
