Full size bed. Private bathroom with clawfoot tub & shower. Sitting room with 42" flat screen TV (antenna only), smart DVD player with Internet connection. Large yard outside. Quiet and relaxed. Shared use of kitchen with washer dryer.
I have a second bedroom off the sitting / TV room, which may also requested separately, but it would then be a shared bathroom if both were booked.
Located in a turn of the century home, about 15 minutes to University of Oregon, in the small town of Creswell, which has city bus service to Eugene. The town boasts a great 4th of July parade and celebration in the nearby park. Annual fIreworks are right behind the home. The town has several restaurants and an excellent bakery, located a short walk away. In the summer, movies are shown outdoors in the park on Saturday night.

I will be available if you need anything and pleased to interact as much as you like. I'm currently building a treehouse in the back yard.

I have had such great experiences with AirBnB while traveling in Europe and Morocco during the last couple of years, I want to try to give something back. This is a new experience for me, so I will learn as I go.
Please respect my home and property.

I recently retired from my profession as an appraiser of complex industrial facilities throughout North America for the more than 30-years. I cared for my mother who had a stroke in June of 2013 and passed away in December of 2014, a few weeks short of her 97th birthday. I love to travel, and looked forward to seeing more of the world now that I have that opportunity. I have been involved in a number of small businesses since I was 18 years old and hold patents for architectural products I designed. I enjoy riding motorcycles, and have raced at the Bonneville Salt Flats in recent years. I have two grown children. My daughter has a degree in early childhood education, and married in August of 2015. My son lived in Japan and China for several years, and has his Masters Degree in Chinese literature.
My daughter had a baby girl in January of 2017. I have been in the process of remodeling the nearby family home my parents built in 1949, which my daughter and her family moved to into during the Spring of 2017. Now, I provide care for my granddaughter every Tuesday, while they work.
I have been traveling during the Spring and Fall to Europe and Morocco for the past three years, and have made wonderful friends, including some who are Airbnb hosts. Recently, I have been living in Tuscany, Italy, (still trying to learn Italian), and working on my friends terraced hillside kitchen garden. I so appreciate it when friends I have met during my travels come to stay with me!
The summer in Oregon is the best, and I always have home improvement projects to work on, including my treehouse.
