Hacienda Chan Chan is a working dairy farm nestled in the mountains North of Cuenca near the picturesque village of Chiquintad. We milk roughly 30 cows on 90 hectares, which leaves lots of room for hiking and exploring. The bungalow is a cozy wooden cabin with two bedrooms, including a lofted bed with a skylight for star gazing. The living room includes an efficient wood stove to warm the chilly nights.
A breakfast of farm made yogurt, fruit and fresh bread is included for all our guests.
The bungalow is a rustic cabin, outfitted with all of the necessities to make your stay comfortable. There is a small cook stove and refrigerator for our guests who want to cook themselves. We also offer dinner options at reasonable prices for anyone that wants to relax and leave the cooking to us. Lunch is a simpler affair, usually consisting of fresh bread and cheese and toppings for making your own sack lunches......ideally to take hiking.
