We loved sitting watching the house martins flitting and swooping outside and the hares darting in and out of the hedgerows. And spectacular views! Enjoy the wonderful location of this cottage!

A rural retreat close enough for trips to Bamburgh and Alnwick. We had cold weather so had the chance to light the fire. The milk, eggs and croissants were also lovely touch

The cottage was as described, it was all well maintained, clean and in working order, I would have no hesitation in recommending it to future visitors

This is a lovely cottage with stunning views front and back. We found it spotlessly clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfy. We found it a little cold, even in July (we couldn't bring ourselves to light a fire in the summer!), but switching on the storage heaters quickly heated the house up. The children enjoyed the back garden, watching the horses in the field over the wall. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the coast and Holy Island; Cragside is also a great day out and less than 40 minutes away.

This was our second short break at Conifer Cottage in as many years. More than enough room for us - three adults, two small children and a dog. The cottage is comfortable and clean with all the facilities you'd expect from a self-catering cottage (plus some you wouldn't!) ...Milk, eggs, bacon and bread on arrival was a lovely touch! A great base to venture further - we visited Ford/Etal and also took a trip to the coast. We stayed in July so not cold enough to get the fire going, but the electric heaters provided came in handy. The fenced garden is perfect for children to play and the cottage is surrounded by amazing views all around (including galloping horses).

We were staying at Conifers Cottage while night fishing for seatrout. Cottage was clean, comfortable and ideally located for fishing Redscar (longish walk to river but not out of the question) and makes a good base for fishing other beats by driving. Great garden in very quiet rural area - nice for BBQ breakfast and bottle of wine at 6am after fishing all night. The neighbors didn't seem the think this was unusual. All in all highly recommend for a base to fish river Till.
