Jenny made our stay easy and comfortable and was available to answer any questions we had. Her place is really cute and conveniently located to the Capitol and downtown DC.

Jen is very efficient and a great communicator. In advance of my stay, I contacted her 3 or 4 times with questions and she always responded right away. Check-in was easy and very clear thanks to her good instructions. My room was very pleasant and QUIET, which is super important to me. Lots of electrical outlets, which is a little thing, but much appreciated when you have multiple gadgets. There's a market about 2 blocks away - super convenient. I didn't use mass transit (because Lyft has made me lazy) so I can't give a first-hand comment on the Metro situation. Jen and her husband are lovely, easy-going hosts and very willing to help with logistical advice. I really enjoyed my stay with them and their new puppy (who is The Smartest Puppy in the World). My only caution is about the stairs -- it's an historic, tri-level home so if you're not great with stairs, this might not be the best place for you. (The bedroom and baths are on different floors.) All in all, staying here really added to my D.C. experience.

Thank for your welcome. The house and the position near the Potomac Avenue metro station makes the transport really easy in the town.

The neighborhood. The parking was different and a little bit of a hassle. The house was clean and what was describe at the listing. The wifi was cut off a little short. Overall, it was a good experience.

I was unable to access the home as promised because the previous occupants took the key with them by mistake. While this was not the host's fault, the situation resulted in me spending round trip taxi/uber fare for no reason as the host was unavailable until later that evening because she was at work, and therefore said she was unable to provide me with access to her home until six hours later or until the previous occupants returned the key they took. Although the host apologized, no adjustment was offered or made made based on my uber/taxi receipts (although the host was aware that I had taken a taxi over with my luggage for no reason - and then had to head back with my luggage as I was unable to enter the premises as I had agreed/paid for). The furnishings in the home were fine - but the open closet in the room where you stay is completely filled with clothes, handbags, and shoes that are visible and should be stored away to make room for guest use. You need to use keys to unlock the doors from the inside of the home simply to exit the home. The bathroom also had hair in the tub and was not clean. The host was very responsive via email and text.

I highly recommend everyone to stay at the 1207 I Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003, United States - Very good location: close to Metro, also close to the US Capitol and many Museums. Furthermore, there are a lot of restaurants about 3 blocks away, 5 minutes walking - The room is big - You can have the feeling that you are staying at your home - Personally, I think Jenny and Brent are good host Thank you Jenny, if I have another chance to visit DC, I will ask you for help again.
