We just spent one week in the apartment. Tallinn was wonderful; the location is close to perfect. We were a party of four: two disabled adults, one disabled senior, and a young teen. The location meant that we could take short trips in various configurations, to different sites and restaurants with relative ease.
If your party includes people dependent on mobility devices, please know that there are stairs--yes, all over Tallinn, but also in accessing the elevator. The railing on the hall leading to the elevator for this unit is also loose. To put the trash out also requires half a flight of stairs. Similarly, taxis cannot come directly to the flat.
For us, all of that was manageable. Extremely low beds in the larger bedroom were less so.
There were no dish towels, hand towels, pot holders, or a bath mat. A previous review cited no shower door. They've added a shower curtain, which properly used minimizes water leakage, but there seems to still be an issue. The fact that only one bath towel per guest us provided quickly becomes an issue.
The local market does not offer dishwasher detergent, and none was provided, so we were unable to use that amenity. There is no rack, nor towels, for drying dishes. The freezer had not been defrosted, which limited its utility. I couldn't figure out if we had difficulty securing its door because it was full of frost, or was it full of frost because the door couldn't latch.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no property guide.
A huge issue for us was the door lock. We were only provided with one key, which meant we were constrained in our movements. We were warned that the lock is "tricky," but weren't given a trick beyond turning the key several times for opening it until the last day--when my 13 year old got locked inside with the only key and could not get the door open.
Until then, there was not a single day without at least some difficulty either securing or unlocking the door. For my father, that meant running though a two week supply of Depends in four days. That was humiliating for him, but also difficult for us in that finding a source to buy more was difficult and time consuming.
