My place is close to art and culture, restaurants and dining, parks, and great views. You’ll love my place because of the location, the high ceilings, and the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
You have everything in a few minutes walking distance, but still are in a quiet residental street in the charming and friendly Þingholt area.
Studio / room with a private entrance and private toilet, fridge, microwave and hotplates. The room is very bright with high ceiling. Note, shared shower in the host´s apartment (next door), but there is also a swimming pool close by.
Servicios y zonas comunes
The room is very private and possibility to access the bathroom and shower + washer and dryer in the host apartment.
Atención a los huéspedes
I try to welcome my guests upon arrival and be accessible through out their stay, at least they can always reach me through phone and e-mail and I help any way I can. Before they arrive I send them an extensive list of recommendations and local tips.
This small studio is perfectly situated if you want to enjoy Reykjavik, walking distance to all main attractions. Hallgrímskirkja is just a bit further up the road and on the other end is BSI, the main bus terminal where the Flybus stops. Still it is in a quiet residential area only 5 / 10 min walk from downtown.
Free parking in my street and other streets nearby.

Hi, just a few things about me:-) I live with my 7 years old son in the apartment. I lived abroad for many years and had an international carrier for many years. In my job I am used to show foreigners around in Reykjavik, and sometimes even other parts of the country. I am a city girl and I like living in Reykjavik as it is very dynamic and has a lot to offer for such a small city and I love giving out some local tips.
I studied political science and industrial relations, and always follow the current debate, which in Iceland never gets boring, (not really a good thing:-). Some of my other interests are travelling, modern art and design, music and alternative movies. I love to cook as well as go out to dine (great selection of good restaurants in Reykjavik), I love to hike and cycle.
Hope this says a bit about me, I love to communicate with and guide people from other parts of the world and take pleasure in facilitating my guest´s stay in any way I can. However I will of course give you the space you need and want. I think I am a reliable and considerate host yet easy going.
