Descripción

My wife Beth and I (Gene) want to open up our home to happy people looking for a nice relaxing place to feel at home while on the road traveling.

We offer two separate bedrooms each with new double bed and hall bath.
Our home is a great spot to get away from the city or just relax for a couple days. Great for commuters if you need to work in Philly or work around Philly. We are within 3 minutes to Tyler State Park, close to downtown Newtown, New Hope, Washington Crossing and Lambertville, NJ.
Lots to see and do or relax and do absolutely nothing but relax!

You are able to use all spaces in the house, especially the pool and heated jacuzzi, rear covered deck, gas grill and fire pit during the summer season.

Having raised three terrific sons who are all homeowners now, we have always had s house full of our sons friends and guests and have loved doing it.
We have had privilege of traveling abroad and meeting wonderful people; we now have the opportunity to open our home to guests who are looking to enjoy what our area and home have to offer.
We would be happy to assist you in whatever you need and look forward to having you as our guests.

Our home is located in a community of is 52 well kept homes in a very quiet and serene neighborhood. Our backyard is meticulously landscaped creating an oasis of trees, flowers, water and open space with stars filling the sky while soaking in the jacuzzi at night with a glass of wine.
Great place to study, read, write and charge your batteries while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

We are 10 minutes from I-95, 40 minutes from Philadelphia, 20 minutes from NJ Transit to NYC. 15 minutes from New Hope or Doylestown.

If you are staying a longer stay and need to arrange a pick up, we may be able to help out.
We can provide you with a list of things to do or see and the best places to order out or dine in from casual to formal.
We are here to make your stay enjoyable!
We also have a couple mountain bikes if you want to use them; Tyler State Park is a bike ride there or by car 3 minutes.

It was a pleasure to stay with Gene and Beth. They are gracious hosts who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their home is peaceful and comfortable, and it's a reasonable drive to major areas. Highly recommended!

Gene and Beth were great hosts! Despite my inconsistencies with arrival time, they were still very helpful. They have a beautiful home and I absolutely love their back yard! They were great with my son, so definitely a family friendly home. Very helpful with tips regarding attractions and other activities in the area. The amenities list states breakfast, so I assumed breakfast was served, however, maybe that's for the guest if they chose to make breakfast, they have access to the kitchen? I am not sure, there was a little confusion there, but Beth was great and provided my son with cereal... which my son definitely liked! I had a cup coffee, and decided to pass on the english muffin. My son really felt comfortable with them both, and talked Beth's ears off! The bed was extremely comfortable and the home was very clean. This was my first time stay AirB&B and it was definitely a great experience. I would definitely stay longer with them.

I am very fortunate and blessed to have met my beautiful wife of 41 years when we were just teenagers. She still remains the love of my life and very best friend! We have a very close family; three amazing grown sons, a daughter-in-law who is like our very own daughter and a beautiful 3 year old grandson.
September 2012 my younger son Jeffrey and I started our own energy auditing and consulting company; a year later my middle son Matthew quit his job in Manhattan and joined us. We started the business to save one of our most valuable resources energy and by doing so it afford us the ability to work together as a family to make a difference for the better on this planet.

So 5 things I can’t live without;
1.)My soul mate and wife Beth
2.)Being part of our children’s lives and our grand child’s life
3.)Good friends to share our lives with.
4.)Our Christian faith and church family that together have got us through the most difficult of times in our lives.
5.)New life experiences; growing as a person; learning new things, challenging myself.

Favorite Travel Destinations;
1.)Curacao; September 2005 my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and we had a trip planned to Costa Rica to celebrate our 30th anniversary and Beth turning 50. We put our traveling plans on standby till we got through the surgeries and Beth’s healing. Once she was through all her surgeries we chose Curacao for the place to get our lives back and start living. It was a magical time in our lives and the island was absolutely perfect in every way.
2.)I have been fortunate to have traveled to Seoul, South Korea and see this amazing place.
3.)In 2010, Matthew and I and an international team of 15 others traveled to Nepal for a month to install vented stoves in the huts of two villages. Then we stopped over on return home to stay in Dubai.
4.)In 2014 Jeffrey and I traveled to Burma / Myanmar, via stopover in Bangkok, Thailand to put together a solar project for a remote school out in the middle of nowhere.
We are fortunate to have traveled to various places in the world and by far, it is the single most favorite thing we love and look forward to doing.

I think because I enjoy meeting and having the opportunity to get to know people I meet from all over the world, is why I love the concept of the B&B versus the corporate hotels which I did for many years while traveling for business.
My life motto which I have instilled in my kids is ‘Live life With No Regrets’, ‘Take Risks and Follow Your Passion.
