I loved staying at Vadim''s place. It was modern and spacious, and everything worked. I needed reliable wifi for business, and it did prove to be reliable. Vadim responded quickly when I needed to ask something, and was always helpful and kind.
I love the area where the flat is located. The old part of Estepona is 200 meters away. It includes many restaurants and open-air cafes, and the white building walls and hanging flower pots that make Spanish cities lovely and quaint.
Also close to Vadim's place are two supermarkets, many ATM machines, a Western Union office, and outdoor basketball courts. And a gym is three minutes from the apartment.
And the ocean is only 300 meters away.
The Port of Estepona is 20 minutes' walk from the apartment. It offers great views of the yachts, and has about 50 restaurants, most with open-air views of the boats. These include Spanish restaurants, Italian, Indian, Thai, and even Belgian.
The prices at most restaurants in Estepona are reasonable, with a typical breakfast $5, a lunch going for $8 and a good dinner $14.
About a 25-minute walk away is a Wal-Mart-type Carrefour store that has almost anyone you need. And there is a discount store called Cash China five minutes from the apartment with many households ideas, like towels, plastic hangers, washing-machine powder, and the like.
Another thing that makes staying at Vadim's place nice is that Spaniards are really open and friendly.
If you want to go to the larger cities of Marbella and Malaga, there is once-an-hour bus that you can catch along the Estepona beachfront. You can also find good deals on rental cars.
All in all, my stay at Vadim's place was one of the best I've had in a long time.
I would highly recommend booking his apartment, and the Estepona area in general. I'm certainly planning to return.
