A precious, shabby chic style flat in a building built in 1870 surrounded by a garden you can only imagine in the very center of Budapest. The neighborhood is called Palace District and is full of romantic streets, bars and restaurants.

It will be love at first sight, guaranteed! :)
Feel the romantic and charming atmosphere this beautiful place has to offer.

Why our guests are so satisfied with staying with us? Because we really care about them!

See it yourself, take a look at the reviews our guests have left for you to make an easier decision!

Our recently renovated apartment is located in the very heart of the famous Palace Quarter of Budapest.
The apartment is located in a historically preserved building, which was built by a very famous architect in the late 1800s. It has an inner garden that you can only dream of! :)
The apartment reflects this romantic charm that the whole building and the amazing garden offer, yet we renovated our home in a way to make sure that it is comfortable for guests in the 21st century as well.
Come and see yourself how you can spend some relaxing time in this lovely cottage style home in the very middle of a busy, vibrant city.

What you can’t see in the pictures but are provided:
* Birds chirping in the beautiful garden in front of our home
* Bedding
* Towels
* Hairdryer
* Well equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee
* Washer
* Kettle
* Iron with ironing board
* TV with cable channels
* Free WiFi
* Guidebooks, recommendations, program magazines

The apartment is perfect for up to 3 people or two adults with up to two kids.

You will have the whole apartment for yourselves, and you will have access to basically everything that we have in our home, but we kindly ask all our guests to treat all the things like they were their own.

We basically live online, so you can call or e-mail us any time. We are flexible and there to help you if you have any questions.

Our beautiful neighborhood is called the Palace Quarter. There are amazingly beautiful buildings in this part of the district.

What you will find around our home:
The National Museum, antique shops, universities, galleries, traditional Hungarian, Russian, Thai and other international restaurants, tapas bar, all the famous ruin bars are within a couple of minutes' walking distance, farmer's street market on every Saturday, markethall, playground, etc.

Although you can reach all the sites within minutes, Palace Quarter is still considered to be a calm, peaceful neighborhood, where you will see people walking their dogs in the street or sitting outside of cafés.

We are among the lucky ones in terms of public transit. Why?
- the airport is about 25 minutes away from us by car - but can easily be accessed by public transit as well
- the non-stop tram 4/6 stops 3 minutes away from us
-metro4 is within 5 minutes of walking at Rákóczi square
-metro2 is within 5 minutes of walking at Blaha Lujza square
-metro3 is within 5 minutes of walking at Corvin negyed

After growing up in the countryside in Hungary then living in New York City for a couple of years I moved to Budapest in 2005. Deep inside I still consider myself a country girl, this way I am still amazed by the beautiful diversity of Budapest and am still able to look at it with a tourist's eyes.
However, in my everyday life I like to use all the experience I had collected when living abroad and nowadays I try to live a full cosmopolita life; I know not only a lot of great people but also a lot of great places in Budapest.
In my life and home I try my best to maintain a comfortable style of living which hopefully can be seen and felt when staying at my home.
Recently, I've started blogging about Hungary, so you can find a lot of useful information and everything else not only about Budapest, but all what is Best Of Hungary! :)
