Our house is a beautifull villa built by Italian inmigrants in the early XXth century, it is located in the Uruguayan countyside but very close to white sand beaches on the Rio de la Plata, a championship golf course and the iconic Plaza de Toros de Colonia.
It is also a short drive to town and all the great Colonia restaurants and shopping!!
The property used to be an old winery (bodega) where the original owners did their wine , some of the old vineyards are still there in the neighbouring properties.
It was reconverted to a olive oil factory that no longer exists, but you still have in the property 3000 olive trees in full production, you can join us for the harvest in lateMarch, we will pay for your labour!! Or you can just visit and witness the olive harvest!!
