We are very glad that you enjoyed your stay at Ensueños, Gabrielle.
I am afraid though that you might not have read properly our descriptions and reviews (450 of them). Every body (us included) have mentioned that:
1- we are rustic.
2- our cheapest cábañas have shared outside bathrooms and others have a private bathroom.
3 - we are 30 minutes apart from the village (thought, I am pretty old and I do it in 20 minutes, just walking easy).
4- it is quite unkind from you taking the mattress out the bedroom, since that is not its place to be. We have hammocks all around our place for those nights that could reach to be too hot for north Europeans, which happens seldom.
5 - we also inform about our little restaurant, where you can order 3 meals within he same morning and also about the possibility of using our comunal kitchen. Naturally, you have to buy your food in the village or fish to grill, right from the local fishermen in front our beach. Quite pleasant experience by the way.
6- the tree houses have two front windows each one of them. You just have to open them. They are not very big in order to avoid rain and wind passing through when weather gets rough. Our Tree houses are small. We wrote so In our descriptions : enough space for a doble matrress, its mosquito net and your luggage.
7- spiders, we have, different species. None of the poison nor dangerous.. They eat crouches living in the tops of coconut trees. Such is nature without poisons, Gabrielle.
8- we also recommend to bring a flash light to every guest. We have plenty stars n the sky, instead of a lot of lights, though we do have some 12 volt solar lighting in each cabaña and also in the kitchen. We even recharge little equipments for guests during sun hours. Easy!
So... maybe you should do a better research before choosing your vacation destination next time. We are what we are, and we don't mean to be different.
Maybe you should have focused more on the possitive and unique things around... nevertheless, thanks for your comments and your appreciation.
We love to be rustic and natural. We also feel deeply fortunate to be half an hour away from the village!
