A cleaning crew of two people spent 5 hours to clean up the house before they checked in。 We clean all the sheets, pillow covers, towels, dish/pots, floor, kitchen, bathrooms and much more. Yes, the kitchen towels are wet but clean because we just used them to clean before they checked in. Becky called me multiple times asking where is kitchen towel, heaters and can opener and etc. but never mentioned about cleanliness of the house and any other complaints during their stay. After she checked out, she asked me to refund her $210. I think it is unreasonable and refused to pay her. As you can see now, she wrote all her complaints to me and Airbnb in order to get money from me. Anyway, we have more than enough cups and mugs for all the guests, but glass for wine is not must have items or requirements. As you can see from our listing, there are kitchens in the house with oven, outside gas grille is not our regular amenity to offer. It is an extra stuff if any guests need to use, it is guest's responsibility to clean and use. we don't clean it regularly. There is a combination tool in the kitchen, which has a can opener. Becky didn't find it, I was one hour away on that day when she called me, I told her to buy one in the store 5 min away and I will reimburse her. Becky's group didn't follow the house rule to take off outside shoes and enter the house, that is why you got dirty kitchen floor she mentioned. Yes, the interior and amenities of the house are traditional and practical, not fancy and luxurious. They have a group of 12 people and only paid less than $300/night for 6 bedrooms, one den, 3.5 baths with ocean view and more than 4200 sf private house. If they want to rent such a big house with wide open ocean view, next to beach park and demand luxurious interior, then you expect to pay at least $500/night!
