Spend the day kayaking (provided) and see seals, eagles, otters and more. Gather oysters, dig for clams on the beach, harvest mussels -- or use the kayaks to drop a crab pot!

SHELLFISH HARVESTING & FISHING
The 102’ of beach directly in front of the cabin belongs to the cabin, as is the case with the surrounding cabins and beaches. Do not harvest from neighbor’s beaches. If you are harvesting oysters, clams, mussels, crab, salmon, shrimp, or any other seafood please consult with both the shellfishing status for nearby Rendsland Beach: (URL HIDDEN) And the statewide harvest rules: (URL HIDDEN)
While you are encouraged to enjoy the fantastic seafood, please be aware that you are responsible for obtaining a permit to do so according to the State of Washington Dept of Fish & Game.
An annual shellfish license is $15.40 and a crab endorsement is $8.25. You can purchase licenses here: (URL HIDDEN)
Please be respectful of our neighbors and their privacy. Our waterfront is directly in front of the cabin. Sound carries when the water is calm.
The cabin is on an individual septic system. Do not put anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. Do not rinse grease down the sinks.
BEDDING & TOWELS
Please strip the sheets and leave the bedding and towels in the bathroom ready for us to wash.

Upon check-out, please empty all trash cans and take out all garbage. Mason county recycling accepts only paper, plastic, and metal. DO NOT PUT GLASS IN THE RECYCLING – I get charged if they find glass.
Please keep in mind that this a home and not a hotel. Please treat it as such. Clean up spills quickly, clean stains, and don’t bring the outdoors in on your feet.
