Beautifully renovated 3 storey, mid terrace property. 3 BEDROOMS - 1 WITH A STANDARD DOUBLE BED AND 2 WITH QUEEN SIZED BEDS. 2 Bathrooms. Lovely views of the River. Railway station 3/4 minutes walk.

The space is bright and airy. In pristine condition. Lovely comfortable furnishing and great bedrooms.

Entire House.

Due to work commitments I am not always available to meet guests personally.

Cobh is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat or have a few social drinks. A trip to the Heritage Centre is worthwhile. Also you can go on boat trips around the harbour or try out the Titanic Trail. Fota Wildlife park is a 7/8 minute drive or can be accessed by train (almost directly outside the front door). For those who enjoy a night out and don't want to worry about their car, a taxi into Cobh town will cost between 5 and 7 euro.

Rushbrooke Railway station is just a few minutes walk from the house bringing you directly to Cobh Heritage Centre (in a couple of minutes) or to Cork City (in 20 minutes). The rail links make this house a perfect location for those travelling without a car whether here for business or pleasure.

There is on-street parking outside the front door or within 30 yards. There is a communal green which can be seen from the back of the house and is immediately accessible down a couple of steps. It's lovely to bring a cup of tea/coffee there and simply enjoy the view or give the kids space to play outside.

Prior to departure at the end of your stay, the following items must be taken care of:-

Ensure kitchen is left clear of all dirty dishes prior to your departure.

Put all rubbish in the bins provided at the rear of the property.. There is one for recycling, one for general waste and one for glass.

Prior to your departure all lights and appliances must be switched off - EXCLUDING the fridge. PLEASE ENSURE THAT CENTRAL HEATING AND HOT WATER IMMERSION (THIS IS LOCATED ON THE LANDING JUST OUTSIDE THE MAIN BATHROOM) ARE SWITCHED TO THE OFF POSITION.

Leave towels which require washing in the utility area prior to departure.

Please ensure all windows and doors (Front and Back) are locked including sky lights in the main bedroom when you are out of the house and prior to your departure.

The house must be left in the same condition as when you arrive.

Additional utility bills will be applicable for long term winter/spring lets. To clarify these details, please contact me.

Liz's place is absolutely fabulous and Liz was very responsive to our needs throughout our stay! We (family of four) arrived from an overnight flight and a drive down from Dublin - what a pleasant surprise when we walked in the door - the place was spotless and exactly as shown in the photos. We were in Cobh for 5 weeks so needed a place where we could settle-in and feel comfortable with our children. This was the spot for us! It had an excellent sitting/work area (for schoolwork as well as for "work work") and two well equipped and modern bathrooms. The bedrooms were all very large with lots of storage space and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was large and well equipped and the sitting room very spacious and comfortable. The walk to Cobh centre took about 25 minutes and (depending on the route) included a stretch along the waterfront with gorgeous views. Grocery shopping was a short drive away and the train station was about 5 minutes up the road. I have to say that I also thoroughly enjoyed watching the ships come and go in the passage - an added bonus! We rented a car while there and had no trouble at all with parking directly in front of the house. Neighbours were friendly and quiet and the location was generally quiet (some minor traffic noise now and then but definitely no problem and it was quiet in the night/mornings). I would highly recommend Liz's place to anyone - it is great value and very pleasant! Thanks Liz for helping to make our stay in Cobh so memorable!

Very comfortable cottage. Well equiped kitchen and spacious living areas and bedrooms. Beautifully furnished and freshly decorated. About a half an hours walk into Cobb and thirty minute drive to Cork.

House is a very nice and the views from the house are great. House has all the appliances and equipment you would need. It is also clean and spacious. Easy access to the Cork city via train/ferry/road, you choose. There is lot to do and see in Cobh also. Though we mainly enjoyed the views, didnt have too much time to spend there. Some nice trad bars in town. Liz was really easy to be intouch and all the arrangement were so easy to do. There is nice play area on the backyard for kids also. Overall impeccable service and can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home. Liz was a fab host. She was always contactable and handled any queries we had very quickly and efficiently. The house is located very close to the train station and the town a nice 20 minute walk away if you fancy a stroll. We look forward to coming back here some day.

Found the house with no problem. It is on a road with railway line running along the front but noise was not a problem

We absolutely loved our stay at Liz's place in Cobh. In our 6 weeks of travel, this was by far the best accommodations we had. The home is better than described and made a great base for our daily outings. We highly recommend it.
