El alojamiento

This room includes items from Logan's Great Great Grandpa.

He was a country veterinarian and traveled by horse and buggy to area farms assisting with farm animals who needed care. The Prairie Rancher includes his secretary's desk and original veterinarian certificate. Also, at the top of the stairs the bear skin blanket he used to keep warm in the buggy is also on display.

My second stay with Logan and Megan was terrific once again. Their family farmhouse is comfortable and they are welcoming. And, for my purposes, it's in a perfect spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Logan and Megan on their farm. We plan to stay with them again sometime in the future, as the opportunity arises. Megan is gifted with interior design and color. She and Logan are doing a very fine job of updating the 100 year old farmhouse into an appealing antique/retro style BnB. They are in process of restoring the original charm and beauty of the wood floors; the staircase is a lovely example of how the refinished wood upstairs will look. The downstairs is wonderfully cool and air-conditioned; circulating fans are provided for the three guest rooms upstairs since they tend to stay warmer. The bathrooms are downstairs since they were a former renovation to the original farmhouse; since I grew up on a farm, this was not a surprise. We love the remote location on the prairie, where it is quiet and safe. We had a great time walking on a lonely dirt road nearby, and laughing at bullfrogs as they hopped away from us across a grassy pond. Seeing the fireflies after dark was also nostalgic treat. The farm fresh breakfast was fantastic! We look forward to the next time we are able to stay.

Logan & Megan were great hosts and the accommodations were as described. It worked great for our quick trip. They've done a great job making the farmhouse their own, but keeping the original feel.

This is a working ranch, not a frufru B&B. Megan and Logan are great hosts in their start up operation, and took care to make my stay a winner. I especially appreciate their willingness to adapt to my pre-dawn departures with awesome breakfasts.

We are located in the heart of Kansas and are the 5th generation to live in our farmhouse. Logan is a farmer/rancher and Megan has a graphic design business. We love sharing our house and farm and learning about our guests' stories.

Whether you stay with us for a weekend getaway, you're traveling through, or want to experience a day on the farm, we want you to leave relaxed and refreshed. We have a huge front porch that is furnished with a large swing, table and chairs. It is the perfect place to relax with a glass of iced tea or even a hot cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and either read a book or simply enjoy the outdoors. It's also a great place to watch the stars before you head to bed. Also, if you check in early enough, there is always an option for a bonfire and s'mores.

If you want to get a taste of farm life, there are many things to do on the farm. A few would include: collecting fresh eggs, feed and water the chickens, watching our Texas Longhorn cattle and horses, feed the ducks on the pond, or play with our farm dog, Bo (if you like dogs). We always have something happening on the farm. Seasonally, you could observe or help with our chick-hatching operation (Spring), work in the veggie or flower gardens (Spring and Summer), or even watch and/or experience wheat and fall harvests (Summer & Fall). During the Winter months, the best place is inside by the fire, but if you want to bundle up, all of our baby calves are born January-March.

When you stay with us, we hope you enjoy our homemade, from scratch breakfast served with single origin coffee.

Come stay with us and get a true Prairie Rancher experience.
