The Prairie Rancher is one of 3 bedrooms available at LF Ranch.
This bedroom has a queen-sized bed for 1-2 people. It is furnished with a comfortable pillow-top bed, dresser and vanity mirror, and Logan's great grandpa's secretary's desk. For your convenience, bed linens, a fan and a space heater are already in your room. Shared spaces include TV, DVDs, couches, dining room table (workspace) and outside lounging.
Homemade breakfast and single origin coffee is available each morning.
This room includes items from Logan's Great Great Grandpa.
He was a country veterinarian and traveled by horse and buggy to area farms assisting with farm animals who needed care. The Prairie Rancher includes his secretary's desk and original veterinarian certificate. Also, at the top of the stairs the bear skin blanket he used to keep warm in the buggy is also on display.

We are located in the heart of Kansas and are the 5th generation to live in our farmhouse. Logan is a farmer/rancher and Megan has a graphic design business. We love sharing our house and farm and learning about our guests' stories.
Whether you stay with us for a weekend getaway, you're traveling through, or want to experience a day on the farm, we want you to leave relaxed and refreshed. We have a huge front porch that is furnished with a large swing, table and chairs. It is the perfect place to relax with a glass of iced tea or even a hot cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and either read a book or simply enjoy the outdoors. It's also a great place to watch the stars before you head to bed. Also, if you check in early enough, there is always an option for a bonfire and s'mores.
If you want to get a taste of farm life, there are many things to do on the farm. A few would include: collecting fresh eggs, feed and water the chickens, watching our Texas Longhorn cattle and horses, feed the ducks on the pond, or play with our farm dog, Bo (if you like dogs). We always have something happening on the farm. Seasonally, you could observe or help with our chick-hatching operation (Spring), work in the veggie or flower gardens (Spring and Summer), or even watch and/or experience wheat and fall harvests (Summer & Fall). During the Winter months, the best place is inside by the fire, but if you want to bundle up, all of our baby calves are born January-March.
When you stay with us, we hope you enjoy our homemade, from scratch breakfast served with single origin coffee.
Come stay with us and get a true Prairie Rancher experience.
