Once upon a time, this vintage building known as The Riviera, was a hotel! This unit & only a few lucky other units share the beautiful views that are from this 3rd story studio. With a modest 430 sqft, the view will most definitely be your favorite part about the unit. Imagine getting sleepy, watching the city lights and listening to the waves crash. But it's also definitely well outfitted with the best of everything. Queen size firm mattress with down feather topper on wood sleigh bed. The comforter is down as well. Community balcony outside of front door. Lots of name brand stuff. New bevel edged subway tiled shower enclosure. Sheer & block out window shades. Stove, small refrig, toaster, french press, coffee grinder & maker, utensils, knives, & cookware. 52in flat screen on rotating arm. Comfortable suede L shaped couch with chaise & bar with 2 modern stools.
Easy access! Contact host within 24 hrs of your stay to receive the codes for both entry to bldg & unit. The suite door locks & unlocks by entering the code, getting the green light, & turning the knob. Password for Wifi is on the house manual in the kitchen. Netflix ready. The ihome player will play iPhones 4 thru 7. Nice towels, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, soaps provided. Laundry room coin operated & conveniently located down the hallway.
No need for me to meet since theres electronic key-padded entries. Contact host within 24 hours of arrival to receive the codes.
I'm pretty flexible with short notice. Absolutely no smoking inside my place. There is a 14.00 % CA and Los Angeles tax rate on stays of 30 days or fewer.

There's no keys! Entry codes are available upon request 24 hrs prior to arrival. The entire unit and the laundry room and community balcony are there for your use. No chatting on the balcony past 10pm.
Getting to the unit:
Parking lot at rear of building. ***Our parking lot will be going under renovations so only street parking at this time.* Walk distance to beach... across street, walk along fence to ramp and then your toes are in the sand!***
The parking lot is a little tricky to find so make sure to read the directions to the lot very carefully and you won't get lost! The lot is at the end of an alley that's accessible from Pacific, between 38th and 39th St. The gate to the building is the ornate brown one with the key pad on it. Contact host for code within 24 hrs of stay. To get to the unit, stick to the right, taking the 8 steps toward the screen door. You'll pass thru an outdoor patio doing this and the laundry room, which is the first door on the R side. ($1.50 for wash, $1.75 dry). The unit will be on the right side at the very end of the hall, #8. When you walk in, the light switch is located above the refrigerator on the right side
The balcony can be used 8am-9pm for relaxing, enjoying a glass of wine, reading, etc. After 9pm a talking voice transmits into bedrooms of neighbors.

If housekeeping needs to make a visit, they will knock and enter.
You might run into residents of the building, The Riviera, so when you do, say "Hi!" With the access codes, there's no need to meet me. You can come and go as you please. Check-in yourself, anytime after 1pm. Ask for access codes & arrival info within 24hrs of arrival. Becareful, if you decide to sit on the balcony & take advantage of the view, do so before 9pm as a talking voice travels thru the windows of my neighbors bedrooms.

Do not park in front of our neighbors wooden garages or in private spots that say no parking.
MUST Read the house manual posted in the kitchen upon arrival. Please take off shoes to keep place clean & not bother guy below. Don't party or be loud. Leave it exactly the way you found it; clean & orderly. Do Not Smoke on the balcony. Absolutely no smoking inside or you will be charged the amount of the deposit and or additional cleaning charges. No use of illegal substances.
Sorry, please no pets as I will loose my place & some guests are highly allergic.
To use the oven, find a lighter (either 2nd drawer, L of the sink Or top L most drawer). Turn middle knob to "gas," wait 5 sec, open oven door & place flame over/ slightly thru small hole & bottom, front & middle of oven, hold until u see/hear light. Close door. Turn knob to desired degrees.
oPlease take all dirty linens to the hamper in closet
oPlease turn off all lights & fan when you leave the unit.
oMoney for used items? Food & drink items are there for your use by way of the honor system so leave $ for what you use.
