IMPORTANT: Just like any other hotel, we will review and may copy your photo ID at check in. No ID, no accommodation. PARKING: We get a lot of questions about parking. Parking really is not an issue. See “Getting Around” section for details. Parking is free Sat, Sun, and 5pm – 8am on weekdays and holidays. If you need a meter, it's cheap ($0.25/hr). There are lots that are always free within 2 blocks.

Check In:
There is a lock box on the property but we're happy to meet you and show you around. Message us with your anticipated arrival time (and any material changes to it). When you’re approximately 30 minutes away, message or text Vic Cooper and she can meet you at the property, give you keys, and show you around.

Check Out:
Strip all beds and place all sheets, towels, and other laundry on the bathroom floor. Close and lock all doors and windows. Wash and dry any dishes. Throw away any open food items. Unopened non-perishable food items can be left. Take all trash down to trash bins at stone archway in the yard of 136 Queen Street. Leave the keys in the apartment and lock the door behind you. Message or text Vic Cooper when you have checked out.
The modest cleaning fee of $50 covers two hours of normal and customary cleaning, normally ample time to reset the home. If you leave the home in a condition that requires more than two hours of cleaning, we may request funds to cover the overage through the Resolution Center.

We want your stay to be a good one and we hope you'll be delighted with the space and with the accuracy of our listing. After hosting hundreds of guests from all over the world, we've learned a few things need to be emphasized to a very small percentage of our prospective guests: 1) The apartment has a 50 gallon electric water heater. This is a large residential water heater and is larger than an apartment of this size would typically have. That said, if six guests want to take scalding hot 30 minute showers back-to-back, there will not be enough hot water. If your use case requires commercial amounts of hot water, stay in a commercial facility. 2) As is stated and shown elsewhere in the listing, some areas of this apartment have hardwood floors. Nocturnal guests may find that their activities disturb extremely-lightly-sleeping babies, spouses, children, etc. 3) If you check out and leave the water running, leave a range hood running, leave the doors and windows open (etc) AND your actions result in material damage to the apartment or the appliance(s), we will file a claim for damages with Airbnb. Whether you noticed it or not, you agreed to this process when you joined Airbnb and it shouldn't come as a surprise. We understand that honest mistakes happen but we need you to understand that those mistakes can still cost a considerable amount of money to undo.
