My family is proud to own this property. I am an attorney of over 40 years, having graduated from Vassar College and the University of Virginia School of Law. I have also served for 29 years as trustee and the executive director of my family's private charitable foundation giving grants to underprivileged children in the metro Atlanta area. I play competitive tennis and sing in my church choir. I also serve on many boards of charitable organizations, private schools, and Georgia State University. I love to travel and read extensively. My passion is abused, neglected, abandoned, and homeless children.
My husband Dick is retired from 32 years as an executive with Panasonic Company in their consumer electronics division. He helps with repairs and keeping the books.
Our 30-year-old son Christopher is a real estate agent in Midtown and manages the property along with me. This house is his pride and joy.
We have all traveled the world with both Panasonic and as volunteers with a nonprofit we support called the Foundation for Hospital Art. We provide setup and staffing for PaintFests held in children's hospitals where the patients, their parents, doctors, nurses, staff, families, and friends or visitors to the hospital paint on pre-drawn, color-coded canvasses that when completed are put together to make a large mural that we touch up and donate to the hospitals to make them better places for healing. We also paint murals on the walls, hallways, nurses' stations, treatment rooms, or wherever the hospital staff asks for art. In addition, we paint butterflies on ceiling tiles so patients lying on their backs can see something beautiful rather than a bare wall.
We have high ideals and strive to give our guests the best experience possible, the same experience we would expect when we travel to high-class hotels around the world. We believe the guest is always right, and we will do whatever is necessary to make their stay memorable. We respond to problems and requests promptly and aim to satisfy our guests immediately.
