Historical house at the edge of a rainforest right next to a stream. Super central Honolulu location with very convenient bus access ;)

Description of the room: Tutu Room is a VERY large master bedroom suite with an oversize twin bed AND a full size bed. Includes a private ensuite full bathroom. There is a small flat screen TV inside the room with basic cable channels. Very large walk in closet and a secondary clothes closet in the bathroom.

The room is great for a single, a couple, or 2 singles, however, the room can also comfortably accommodate up to 3 people. Works nicely for a family of 3 who want are traveling on a budget. (If you are 2 "singles" planning to share the room then your rate calculates at $37/person/nt...a great value!)

Property Description:
Offering rooms in my recently purchased 3 bdr, 3 bath home. The property is a newly renovated-restored house built in 1930's. Situated along Waiolani stream. Pleasant setting, safe quiet neighborhood, centrally located.

This property caters to the "longer" stay visitor: Extended stay vacationers, folks transitioning between homes, on temp work/training assignments, or "just arrived" island residents. No lease / security deposit.

The entire main house is set up to accommodate Airbnb guests (i.e. 3 separate bedroom rentals). Everything is prepared so that you have all basic living needs to "hit the ground running". You will not be sharing the living space with the Owner/Host, however, you will be sharing common areas of the house with other potential Airbnb guests. House is big enough so you can have your privacy when you want it, or to socialize with others if you so choose.

Owner lives on premises part of the year (i.e. I am on island every 2-3 mon) in a separate apt on the property. When Owner is off island all communications will be handled remotely.

The neighborhood is very centrally located. Very close to downtown business district (1.7 miles away) and Honolulu Harbor. Liliha is the oldest town in Honolulu. Many historical homes and historical sites nearby. You will be living at the edge of a rain forest.

Conveniently situated in Nuuanu-Puunui neighborhood. 5-10 min drive to just about anywhere in Honolulu: Downtown, U of Hawaii, Ala Moana Center, Honolulu Harbor, Waikiki, Diamond Head and more. Easy access to Pali Highway, i.e to Kailua/Kaneohe (i.e. Windward-side of island).

Bus stop is just 2 houses away from the property, super convenient. #13 bus goes directly to Waikiki but, will also get you to all the main areas in Honolulu, i.e. Business District, Ala Moana Ctr, Diamond Head. Bus also easy to West Honolulu areas such as Tripler, Pearl City, Airport. Downtown business district is 10 min by bus. UH Manoa is 45 min by bus.

Location of property is very convenient for those working in downtown business district, or at one of the several hospitals in the neighborhood (Queen's, Kuakini, Saint Francis). Easy bus access (and in some cases walking distance). No need for car.

"The Bus" one-way fare $2.50. Monthly unlimited bus pass available for $60.

Airport (HNL) is appx 6.5 miles from property. Appx taxi fare is $27 one way.

Requests for PARTIAL stay "extra person" will be charged a $150 accommodation fee in addition to the $10/nt extra person fee. Generally, Host will approve additional guest only if requested prior to the confirmed booking. Impromptu guests or after check-in extra person requests will generally not be approved, however, exceptions might be made depending on the circumstance.

IMPT: Only guests who are pre-screened and approved by the Host are allowed to occupy the unit/be on the property. Generally, requests for additional guests not disclosed when making the initial booking inquiry (full or partial stay) will not be approved AFTER a booking is confirmed.

Requests to switch rooms AFTER check-in, if approved, will be charged $150 accommodation fee, plus $100 cleaning fee in addition to price differential between the rooms. New pricing will be based on current market nightly rate for new the room, plus fees.

HOUSE RULES:
•1 parking stall per guest. Please DO NOT back into the stall.
•Shoes off inside the house (island style).
•Smoking permitted outside only.
•No illicit drugs. (Will result in immediate eviction)
•No excessive alcohol consumption on the premises. (Will result in immediate eviction)
•No partying of any sort on the premises. (Will result in immediate eviction)
•No loud music. Mind your noise level and please be courteous to the neighbors.
•Only persons approved under the booking are allowed on the property.
•No overnight guests or use of facilities for guests.
•No subleasing.
•No storage of personal belongings on the premises (i.e. common area or outside).
•Respect for the property, other house guests and neighbors is expected.
•Maid service is not provided with the rental. You are expected to keep common areas clean and maintain regular cleaning of your assigned bathroom and bedroom. (additional fee may be charged if professional cleaning services are needed during the course of your stay)
