We love Tasmania's northern midlands and the wonderful rural landscape around Longford, and enjoy making our guests feel welcome in this wonderful heritage listed Georgian house. I am passionate about cooking our beautiful Tasmanian fresh produce (especially desserts), gardening, good wine, antiques, and painting botanic watercolours and birds. We also love our animals, and are slaves to one very small cat, a young Smithfield Collie (a Tasmanian sheepdog breed), and custodians of two gorgeous black sheep and eight chooks. When not at the Racecourse Inn we love to get out and explore around Tasmania's northern midlands and the Great Western Tiers.
