The Esk'et Spyu7 is an off-grid camping cabin powered by solar, located in a quiet country setting.
With a queen bed in the sleeping loft, and a cozy lounge area below, this space is efficient and one-of-a-kind. Located 30min southwest of Williams Lake.
Welcome to the traditional territory of the Esk'etemc people.
The Esk'et Spyu7 is situated 30 minutes off the main highways (Hwy 97 to Vancouver/Alaska, and Hwy 20 to Bella Coola). This area is slightly off the beaten path, and is a hidden gem.
We love this camping cabin, and we love our community.
The tiny cabin is bright and welcoming, and is set-up for off-grid use. It has a solar panel on the roof, to power your lights. There is a simple gravity-fed water system (wash hands, brush teeth,..)
Your private guest bathroom with shower is located separately from the cabin, in the entryway of our home, a short walk across the lawn (50m).
The cabin sits in a quiet, private spot, out of sight of the main house, with beautiful views of the green space & pond.
It's stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay, incl. snacks & drinks.
The sleeping loft has a queen bed with lots of headspace, accessed by a hidden sliding ladder. The lounge area is lounge by day, extra sleeping space at night if needed.
You are welcome to use the kitchen inside our home to cook any additional meals. There is also an outdoor bbq.
Enjoy the peaceful country setting with beautiful views.! Aaaaaahhhh... time to relax.
This spot is home to lots of birds. There is also a bird sanctuary 10min down the road at Alkali Lake Ranch.
Hike, bike, explore - the wilderness and walking trails are right at your doorstep, & we have (casual road) bikes for you to borrow!
(Mountain biking trails are minutes down the road at Desous Mountain)
A variety of quality Breakfast foods are included in your stay. You'll find yogurt, granola, fresh berries, cereal, juice,.., for you to prepare when you like. (Additionally, we'll also bring you a hot breakfast)
An assortment of coffee, tea & hot chocolate, and snacks (cookies, chips, pop/water) are always stocked at the cabin.
Children are welcome! (under 12 stay free)

Maybe you're just here to relax and unwind in a quiet place... that's great too :) The tiny cabin & setting is perfect for that.

We always respect your privacy, and individual interests and preferences you have for your stay with us.

We have outdoor pets: a friendly dog, and a cat. The pets are not allowed inside the cabin, but heads up: the dog will greet you, barking as you arrive at the place.
Your private guest bathroom is accessed separately in our own home, which is located just off the entryway (short walk across the lawn).
You are also most welcome to use our kitchen/laundry,.. BBQ also available for all guests!
