Pre-Arrival: Email communications were quick and easy. Clear Instructions and details.
Arrival: We arrived in Phuket on 7th Jan around 5 am, Villa was booked for the previous day, therefore we were unable to check-in early (No issue), we rented a room near HKT Airport until noon. We were picked up from HKT airport by Tim (Nice and friendly guy). It took us around Hour and 15 min to get to the Villa - Some construction going on the (building Tunnels). The transportation price was a rip off, charging 1200 baht one way, which on a similar car we paid 400 returning. (Most of the local drivers were unable to find the villa while we stayed there, you need to remember the roads in order to get your driver to drop you). These are the exact coordinates for the villa: "E (Paste them in Map)
The Villa: (Pros) The Villa is beautiful, clean swimming pool (cleaning is done every Tuesday & Friday), decent numbers of towels, extra pillows and sheets to change, washing machine is there (remember to buy washing powder). We get two sets of keys. There is a big lock for the main door.
(Cons) The door lock takes ages to open, even with the correct key you will at least need a min to play around. Once you're in there is a normal wooden door but there is a huge gap between the door and the wall, can see through and air-conditioning is a waste in the living room. The big sliding door in the living room did not open because they did not have the keys (Somehow they opened it when we were checking out). Swimming pool lights did not work or should I say we didn't knew where the switch was, even Tim had no idea (Again it worked when we were checking out). No First Aid, we had a little accident and was looking for a first aid, searched all over but no luck... I now see that it was mentioned in Airbnb that First-Aid is not included but why not? We had to improvise and DIY to cover up the wound properly. Its great they have Iron Board but Iron.... Do you expect travelers to carry Iron with them? No Hair Dryer, even the 500 baht a night motel had one... The safe, is a tiny one. We had Macbook Air and my HP 15" Laptop with us.. again Improvised and hid it in the toilet (top shelf with pillows covering it). Lastly, few tips, Do book with them, rent a car or motorbike, buy food and drinks (esp Water), Lock the main door from inside, lock all the doors before sleeping. Electricity is cheap. We paid 420Baht for 3 night. Air con was running whole night.
Hope this review helps. Enjoy Phuket!
