Thank you, Rojiar, for your feedback! I agree it was also a little chilly for us in the very morning, the weather was uncommonly cold for the period and the heating wasn't set properly. We managed to fix this up from the following night on.
Now, regarding the price, it's quite uncommon for somebody to state that something is overpriced after 1) negotiating for a better offer, as you did and 2) clearly knowing the price before booking. And, just to be precise, you and the 4 persons in your family didn't sit in just a room, as you state (wouldn't be possible) but in the entire Attic (40 sq. meters), which includes also the room and the private bathroom.
Finally, concerning the barking dogs... Well, not my intention to patronize, but you've chosen to stay in a remote village in Romania. And that is the standard soundtrack of any village here and entire Balkan area: dogs barking from time to time, wildbirds singing (and roosters in the morning), cats swishing through grass looking for mice, and eventually, a cow or two mildly mooing whenever the have something to "say" to the world. Being surprised of these familiar sounds is like being surprised of the fact that Iceland has glaciers or the desert is full of sand.
Just my 2 cents, Rojiar. As you said, it was a great stay and you have a wonderful and joyful family. Hope we'll meet you all again someday!
