“Claudia“ la camera singola, ampia e luminosa, con mobili classici e due balconcini che affacciano sul vicolo e sul panorama della valle;
“Eva“ la nostra spaziosa e confortevole camera doppia , con il suo balcone che affaccia su tutta la valle;

Great place. The location is lovely and Mirella was a wonderful host. We were treated as special guests. The village is very cute with lots of history. Surrounding villages were quite nice too. Very nice.

Absolutely amazing!! Mirella has a heart of gold and staying in the little village of Roccasecca was like being in the set of sound of the music. Loved it!!

The home is beautifully set... truly idyllic. Aside from the setting, the home is as described. We arrived to enough food and drinks in the fridge to sustain us until we were able to go to the store (just a minute or two drive down the road). Parking is very easy and maybe a two minute walk to the home. Plenty of towels available. Washing machine works (but requires a good bang on the door to get it to start... something we've noticed in a lot of the places we've stayed in Italy). Drying racks are available in each room. Mirella is very responsive and congenial. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

Our family (6 adults and a 2 year old) stayed 5 days while visiting cousins in the Cassino area. The accommodation is in the old section of Roccasecca and captures the genuine nature of this region. The church of St Thomas Aquinas (his birthplace) is just up the hill, with the ruins of the castle just above. This is Mirella's old family home and it is tastefully modernized with a full kitchen, two baths, & 3 bedrooms. The pilgrimage route to Monte Cassino passes through town. Would suggest considering taking the last section of this route from the nearby village of Villa Santa Lucia (start at Monastero della Madonna Della Grazie). You need good hiking/waling shoes. The trail is a bit difficult to follow near the Maceria Albinetta (major site in the battle for Monte Cassino). 90 minutes each way plus time to visit the Abbey. Mirella is very attentive. We will be back.

The place of stay was very clean, tidy, and provided fully functioning utilities. It is best to inform the host how to get to the point of destination if transportation is not available (as it was during the weekend). It is a place of great relaxation and away from the noisy city. Situated on a large hill, the house sits comfortably around history and fantastic scenery. La Villa is where you want to go.

La villa is a great escape from the big city and enjoy comfort from a gorgeous area. Facilities were working perfectly and the food was great. I had great time there. When public transportation wasn't available, the hostess was generous enough to pick me up at the train station. She was very warm and kindhearted. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.
