Once upon a time this place was a carriage house, residence of a coffin maker, home of an illegitimate prince, and a place for guests long before any hotels were built here. And now, it's a family home with rooms available for rent. This room offers a queen bed, with a private ensuite washroom, and access to kitchen, dining room and living room. Our home is located right in the middle of beautiful St Andrews, New Brunswick, and you would be within walking distance of all the town has to offer.
This bedroom offers a queen sized bed, large desk, closet, sitting area, and ensuite bathroom with a stand up shower. Hand soap from Bath and Body Works, and Body Soap from The Body Shop are ready in your bathrooms (if you forgot your shampoo, tooth brushes or tooth paste, let me know!) Your room will have towels, face cloths and sheets available to you, but we like to conserve energy and water use here, therefore laundry will only be done upon your departure. If you would like a new towel or face cloths, or would like access to the laundry facilities, you may ask. Your room comes equipped with a heat pump/air conditioner, which can be adjusted to your preference with a remote control located in your room.
Our home will be shared by myself, my partner (and at times my parents and other family members) along with any other guests renting a room while you are here. The kitchen, dining room and living room are available to you at all times. We simply ask that you clean up after yourself. We have a dish washer in the kitchen, so no need to do the dishes! Just rinse and place and I'll start the machine after dinner. If you would like to cook, you can go right ahead. There is space for food in our shared fridge, and you also have a fridge available to you in your room. If you like BBQ, you can also use our outdoor barbecue for some fun summer eats!
Our home is equipped with high speed internet, and cable. We also have many board games, a piano, and a record player. We just ask that you treat these amenities with respect, and keep them in the common areas.
Parking at our home is limited. We ask that if you are traveling by car and need a space to park that you let us know in advance so that we can best accommodate you.
St Andrews can often feel like a place out of a fairy tale, and we look forward to being a part of your fairy tale vacation!

I am a young professional with lots of experience traveling both in Canada and around the world. I am currently returning home after a month long trip to Ghana, Africa, and have traveled to Europe numerous times. I typically travel with a friend or family members but have, on occasion, traveled solo. As a past employee at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, I have high standards for customer service and appreciate attention to small details. I love to entertain, play guitar and tell a good story. I am a University graduate of a theatre and film program, and from September to May I live in Toronto studying at George Brown College. I am just as mesmerized by a quaint small town, as I am by fast paced city life.
While hosting in St Andrews I love to give recommendations for the best places to enjoy an afternoon and where the best seafood is! If you choose to visit me by the bay, you may also be welcomed by my partner Patrick (who lives with me at our Airbnb rental) or my parents who live just down the street. We all look forward to welcoming you and helping you enjoy the best that St Andrews has to offer.
