Otros aspectos destacables

Please take a note that might impact your staying:
- My place is quite hidden in the alley, so please read carefully my check-in instruction or contact me when you're here and i'll take you.
- There is a cat living down-stair and she often visits my place; and sometimes (once or twice per month) she makes some noise unpredictably on the roof.
- The stairs are quite small and narrow. It's a bit hard to bring heavy suitcases up there. Backpacks are more convenient. But anyways, I'm always here to give you a hand to bring them all up.
- Your private bathroom is quite small. If you're taller than 190 cm, it might be a problem.

The place was amazing, initial thoughts going arriving and going down an alley was a little sceptical, but when we arrived it was amazing. The room is so cost and comfortable and we couldn't have asked for anything more, love the oil lamp with the balms

Thank you Ben! I am happy that my room helped complete your trip in Hanoi. I know the alleyways of Hanoi can seem a bit dodgy at first compared to other places in the world, but I'm glad you found out how nice it can be once you continue inside!

Staying at Sue's place was absolutely amazing. The room was tidy en spacious, the location was great. Sue's place was just behind the the crowded streets in an alley, which made the room very quiet. It was not in the middle of the touristy area, which was great, as you really had the feeling being between the locals. It was still walkable to all the sights though! The best thing however, was Sue herself. She made her very own guidebook with local tips (where to eat, drink and go) and was always a text away from helping us. She arranged a taxi from Ha Noi airport to her place and helped us planning for our next trip by booking a bus/taxi etc. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend anybody visiting Ha Noi staying here as well.

Thank you Sue for making my time im Hanoi so special, I really enjoyed staying at your place and I am so happy that I met you! Sue is the most warm and welcoming host you can imagine. She really takes care of you and makes sure you feel home! The room is perfect, clean and cosy! But the best is that Sue lives just downstairs :) She really made a difference to my time in Hanoi also because she had so many good recommendations and this wonderful guide book that she made with so much love! I would'nt want to miss it! I tried many of her tips and it gave me such good experiences and food :) I really love the neighbourhood of Sue's house, there is so much to discover outside the old quarter! But mostly I just really enjoyed spending time with Sue, it was fun and inspiring! Thank you and see you soon again!

This Airbnb far exceeded my expectations, partly because of the quality of the apartment itself, but mostly because of the quality of the host. Sue is extremely knowledgeable about the area and happily showed me the best local cafes, restaurants, sights, and experiences in Hanoi. She was very kind and hospitable, making breakfast each morning (fresh avocado smoothies and other local fare) and ensuring the highest quality of stay. She has handwritten a ~80 page handbook of everything to do in Hanoi, and helped me with basic Vietnamese so I could better interact with locals. She even taught me to ride a motorbike effectively (and safely) in Hanoi traffic. The neighborhood she lives in is very nice and authentic, and has many friendly stores nearby for anything one could need or want. It is in a great location for exploring the rest of Hanoi, as it is close to West Lake, the Old Quarter, and French Quarter, as well as various other lesser known nice regions. Though it is on Doi Can (a major thoroughfare), it is tucked into a small alley so the sounds of the street are muffled, and she provides a fan, air conditioning, and aromatic oils to ensure a quality night's sleep. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone coming to Hanoi.

Sue is a really great host and her place is lovely. I really felt home while staying there and was a little sad when leaving the place! The room is really nice, very quiet and well located in Hanoi. As said in previous comments, the stairs to the room are a bit narrow for heavy suitcases but Sue gladly helped me to carry my -very big and heavy- suitcase and the stairs are actually not a problem! Sue is really eager to help us spend the best time possible in Hanoi, she will help you organise your visits and she even wrote a little guide book about Hanoi that is very useful. Also she will tell you about hidden cafes and restaurants that you would never find by yourself. I am a vegetarian and I was a bit worried about finding food but she is a vegetarian too and she took me around on her motorcycle to show me all the vegetarian restaurants around her place and we had a few diners together! Don't hesitate to book Sue's place: you won't regret it !!
