A great studio apartment in Snow Creek Village to stay when you want to be close to Palm Springs (only 15 minutes to downtown) but with the stunning beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains and the Pacific Crest trail at your back door. This is a great retreat for artists, hikers, writers, readers or anyone who enjoys solitude and access to the open desert.
The main room is a 450 sq. ft. multi-use shared space which includes a kitchenette, a queen bed, a 3 seater couch (which someone could crash on if needed) and a large work /dining table. There is a twin bed in the small kid's room and that door closes. There is a full futon that could sleep one in the art studio, but mainly its a great place for a couple to stay, with or without kids. It is a casual and cosy place to play cards, read, make food and congregate. Well behaved dogs are allowed but there is no fenced-in yard and dogs must be walked on leash around the village for the safety of your dog due to wildlife being present.
Servicios y zonas comunes
This property is a family shared place, so it will have things of ours in the space which we absolutely open up to be shared. The place has the mark of our personality in it, and is supplied with art and books and games that we want people to enjoy. Feel free to use any condiments, tea and coffee and anything in the kitchen cupboards. There is also canned and boxed food in the hallway larder, which are also open for use. Make yourself at home. You are also welcomed to use the art supplies, as long as you leave behind a drawing or painting for us as a gift. Its wonderful to have a remnant of your creative time here!

Otros aspectos destacables
On occasion, the next door space may be in use during your stay by us or one of our friends. We will let you know before your visit if this is the case, but we are very respectful of privacy and there is only the rare possibility of someone being at the outdoor table at times in the back.
- Guests must be respectful of neighbors and mindful of sound disturbance. Pets must be approved by the host. No off leash walking in the village. And doors must be closed at ALL times to keep desert varmints out. Clean up after you eat to avoid attracting the curious hopeful critters.
I am an artist and my partner, a photographer, and I live in Los Angeles, and go out to our place in Snow Creek as much as we can. There's almost nothing better to us than to escape LA to work on projects, refresh our brains and be in nature. Hosting this magical Casita apartment for desert retreats is our pleasure so that we can share this experience with other solitude seekers who also enjoy a little bit of city to access on the side. The main house is where we stay and the Casita is what we rent out. They are completely separate structures and we are not there all the time, and would respect the privacy of any guest.
