Staying in the Daintree Rainforest at Errol's beautifully appointed and furnished solid timber planter's house was very special. His famous breakfasts are well described in other reviews, but the morning guinea fowl and hen fest in the garden is another highlight. The guinea fowl, as well as being ornamental, serve a useful purpose of keeping snakes away; the house is well into the forest and must be reached by car ferry (frequent, short crossings). Once there, look for Neil Hewitt's extraordinarily well informed 1 or 4 hour Wilderness walking tours: we did one with just one other couple, and it was a privilege to be with such a thoroughly committed guide, whose family also owns part of this world heritage rainforest land. Errol, thank you for a wonderful stay!

errol's place is stunning. not only is the building gorgeous, the view is spectacular. breakfast was beautiful, and errol was so helpful with showing us activities in the area and where to go, etc. all in all the place, the food, hospitality, the location, and of course our host was spectacular. would recommend!

Our stay with Errol in his lovely queenslander was something we will never forget. The house is nestled in a beautiful part of Australia that everyone needs to see to believe. Our room was immaculately clean and the bed a dream to sleep in. Errol is a lovely host who has the most genuine and charming nature. He made sure we were well looked after and gave us great recommendations of what to do in the local area. Our delightful homemade breakfast not only tantalized our tastebuds but showcased Errol's sheer skill and passion in all forms of hospitality. We loved our tour of Errol's superb garden and playing with his beautiful pets. Errol has managed to create a dwelling that truly makes you feel at home. We wished we had more time to spend here and thoroughly reccomend staying at least a couple of nights. Thanks Errol!

A true BnB and a unique property with fantastic Queenslander decks and views over the Daintree River and surrounding rainforest. Errol shares his knowledge of the area and this is an ideal stop over. Interaction wit other guests provided for a memorable stay.

Daintree manor is super charming , the house , the room and the garden are spacious and clean. But what's made our brief stay so memorable is Errol's hospitality and the most delicious homemade breakfast. And our daughter loved hanging out with Max&Bella

Where do I begin? The hospitality here is beyond normal expectations and are of the highest quality and standard and will be difficult to ever repeat anywhere else. Amazing cooking and attention to detail and overall an experience to itself. Every person who has written something to this effect is speaking the truth. You will not regret coming here. An amazing host who will leave an impression on all who stay here and thus might become one of the biggest highlights of your trip.

Paradisiacal! Errol is a charming host, the views are just incredible across a well kept garden to rainforest and then as mountain range! Two adorable tiny dogs make friends with everyone, the place is alive with wildlife and they even see the odd cassowary (we heard one and encountered numerous other wildlife in the vicinity!) Just fabulous, and we met lovely people there too. Thank you Errol!

Professional person doing B&B as a hobby after retiring early.
Also trying to grow vegetables and tropical fruits on this 5 acre property.
Love having guests and from the reviews written on other sites, I think the guests love staying here as well. I love waking up to the sound of birds rather than traffic and I am pleased to never have winter anymore.
