My dream home! As an artist and native Las Crucen splitting time between NYC and New Mexico, I couldn't have imagined a more perfect oasis for both creative inspiration and quiet rejuvenation in the historic heart of Mesilla and southern New Mexico. Built in 1853, as the Mexican customs house prior to statehood in the Gadsden purchase, it doesn't get anymore Old West than this.
This property is literally the pinpoint perfect geographical location for exploring all the southwest has to offer both naturally and culturally. Less than a block of the Mesilla plaza (directly behind the San Albino Catholic Church), the location couldn't possibly be anymore convenient for exploring historic Old Mesilla. It's also an easy drive from the beautiful Organ mountains or White Sands National Monument.
For the more creatively ambitious looking for a southwest art experience, the property is also located equidistant between both the Chinati foundation in Marfa, TX and all the Santa Fe art world has to offer.
Honoring and reflecting upon the rich history of this space, while also carefully curating a space for forward looking creativity and community (both locally and globally), my new home is meant to be shared.
Come make yourself at home at Quinta Bermudez! Mi casa es su casa!
Servicios y zonas comunes
The courtyard, wifi, cable/HBO, Bose stereo system, washer/dryer, art studio/office, Rega turntable and one of the most amazing vinyl collections you've ever seen (thanks to donations from many loved ones) are all available to all guests to be enjoyed!
Atención a los huéspedes
Being self employed, I'm nearly always available by phone or email no matter where I'm at in the world, however all my family and many friends are available in the neighborhood for questions or emergencies. The ladies next door at My Rich Sister's Closet (a very successful women's clothing consignment shop) are also on property to help during business hours.
- The courtyard is a perfect space for parties and gatherings but must be OK'd prior

I'm a documentary photographer who travels a lot for work. I have lived in Barcelona, Johannesburg, The Gambia, New Mexico, Arizona and have now settled in NYC. NY is the perfect home base for all the things I care about in life: art, music, culture and easy access to almost anywhere in the world!
