Descripción

My 1880s railroad-worker house has been transformed into a one bedroom retreat with a fun 'stay-at-home' atmosphere and a super easy 'out-on-the-town' location. It has perfect access to downtown, campuses, the convention center and all the arts!

THE SPACE
The house is well loved and hand-made. Buckets of creative hours put in by family and friends makes for a space that feels good.

Lincoln Park / La Alma
The neighborhood is in transition. My house is on a busy three lane street with parking on one side. There is a mix of young professionals, families, income levels and racial make-up. There is a Community Recreation Center in the neighborhood park. I like it for its urban complexity because it reminds me of the neighborhood where I grew up in Toronto. There are kids, there are old people, and there are languages other than English.

TRANSPORTATION
Since I don’t own a car I have a good sense of how easy or hard it is to…..
• Walk – up to 10 blocks
• Bike – up to 20 blocks
• Light Rail – 20 blocks or more
• Drive - I-25 is 4 blocks away. (You won’t be able to hear the freeway from my house but you will be able to get in and out of town very quickly.)

The Wee House is exactly as pictured with lots of charm. We loved the fireplace; it warmed up the whole house very quickly. It is in a very drivable location in the middle of many desirable neighborhoods. The backyard could use some sprucing up and there is not much privacy from the neighbors. The Wee House was perfect for our 4-night stay in Denver!

Nicole's place worked out perfect for us - easy location for our day trips and great, well-equipped kitchen for cooking! Also an easy spot to park and really enjoyed access to bikes!

The home is stunning and was an excellent place to stay during a visit to Denver. Location is approximently 5-15 minutes drive away from everything you could want to see downtown. Had some difficulty upon our check in but host was responsive to the issue.
