Negative reviews can really cause a host to lose business, which is why I feel this review is unfair and a reflection of the guest's dismissal of a clearly written policy when scheduling the stay. The original stay was for 57 days, anything over 30 would receive a 50% discount ( a mistake on my part). When the reservation was only for 24 days, this did not qualify for the full month discount. Pretty clear. There wasn't a hesitation is taking advantage of the mistake made on the monthly discount.
We pride ourselves on having a clean and safe home for our guests to enjoy. The home is cleaned professionally after each guest and weekly when vacant. We recently painted, cleaned the carpets, remodeled the bathroom, and purchased brand new sheets, blankets, beds, towels, dishes etc. As I recall the home was "immaculate" (Email hidden by Airbnb) munication is a priority as the booking was made well after 5:00 and the guest was met at the home within one hour. The host lives on site for immediate assistance of any kind without feeling intrusive. There has never been a call, text or question unanswered or unattended.
The home is located in the heart of the North Valley, within one mile of the guest's school. It is safe, quite and private. This 2 bedroom casita, with a garage seems like a much greater option compared to the motel-like accommodations one might receive for $100/night.
I understand life happens and plans change....however, so do missed opportunities to rent the home, and contracts. It appears the guest may be a bit hard to please as she had prematurely cancelled her previous contract before doing the same at our home. Patterns.
Hosting this home is a pleasure and we enjoy meeting and establishing relationships with our guests, please review the previous comments and you'll see we have a great place to stay, and sometimes one only has power from behind a computer screen.
