Brand new downtown Truckee unit, 10-15 min walk from the downtown historic district with plenty of shops and restaurants to wander around. Walk 2 mins down the road to the Legacy Trail pedestrian bridge, and take a walk, run or bike along the Truckee River for miles. Picnic and swim spots on the river are just steps away. 20 min drive to Squaw, 15 min drive to Northstar. Unit has separate private entrance, kitchenette, laundry in unit, and private balcony.
Our space is a brand new build right on the Truckee River. The unit is part of our primary residence, and we have put a lot of thought and care into building it. The proximity to the Legacy Trail, Truckee River, and historic downtown make this an incredible location for summer and winter recreation, as well as enjoying good food and shopping.
There is radiant heat in the flooring to keep you cozy in the winter. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need, including fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, range and oven. WiFi is good, and there’s a table that can be expanded for dining or working. Iron and hairdryer available if you need to get gussied up!
We appreciate having guests who are mellow and respect the fact that we share the space. We just moved in ourselves and are excited for others to enjoy what we’ve worked hard to build!
**NOTE: The second bed is an air mattress which can be set up in the living room. Please let us know if you need it made up for you in advance. Otherwise we will provide clean sheets and bedding along with a pump to blow it up easily. (it's a good comfy one!)** Extra batteries for pump are in kitchen top drawer.

Atención a los huéspedes
We live in the house attached and will make ourselves available by phone or airbnb messaging if you need anything. We often travel, so may or may not be there at the time of your visit.
Otros aspectos destacables
NOISE: The train runs nearby and you will certainly hear it, so be prepared for that if you’re noise sensitive- we’ve spent time in the unit ourselves and it just feels like background noise, but some may be more bothered by it than others.
RIVER ACCESS: The back of the house is right on the river, but the nicest spot to hang out is actually right by the Legacy Trail pedestrian bridge, 2 mins walk down the road. As you exit the house, walk to the right toward the bridge. As you look at the bridge, you'll see steps down to the right of it. It leads quickly to a spot with easy access for swimming and a really nice beach to hang out at.
No raging parties - we live in the adjacent house so please be considerate of the space!
