Self - Contained accommodation:

Please be advised that we are a 'self-contained’ accommodation provider, however...we do offer our guests a light (predominantly locally produced) continental “Welcome” breakfast on the first morning of their stay.

Nearby Food Options:

Korumburra - Our nearest town is Korumburra (pretty 15 minute drive) and offers some good country hotel and eating/food shopping options including: ‘Middle Pub’, ‘Rainbow Palace’ Chinese, and ‘Divas’ Tandoori Indian to name a few. There’s also a licensed IGA that will have most of what you’ll need.

Warragul - Larger range of options (pretty 20 minute drive) from us and Pepe’s Pizza, Hoggett Kitchen – lovely outlook (formerly Wild Dog Winery) ‘Warragul Thai’ and The Courthouse are all good places to eat.

Farmer’s Markets:

There’s always a weekend market on somewhere in the area, so why not stock up with some of our delicious local produce!

Link: Gippsland Farmers Markets

Kongwak Market (Every Sun 9 - 12.30ish) This is a hippy, shabby chic, retro affair and the antique and book shop is fun for a browse. (you can also swing by 'Prom Country Cheese' on your way through)

Woolworth's Online:

For those without the time to shop or who simply want to arrive to a kitchen ‘ready packed’ with all their favourite goodies - Woolworth's On-Line delivers right to the door.

Please call us to arrange a mutually agreeable time for delivery.

Some things worth noting …

Walking, Cycling, Touring, Sightseeing:

We live in a beautiful part of the world here, bordering on both the magnificent Prom Country and Baw Baw Country Regions.

Please take a moment to check out these websites for heaps of ideas about things to do!

Golf: If you love golf, you’ve come to the right place! Check out the options on South Gippsland Golf

Massage: For those who just need to ‘chill’, Michelle at 'Soul Serenity’ offers our guests an exclusive “in cottage” massage treatment (for 2 or more), but ...you need to book early to ensure a place!

A couple of other things to see, eat, drink and do:

Loch - is a special little village nearby. ‘Olive' is a classic little café for coffee and a snack and Gippsland Wine Company and the Loch Brewery & Gin Distillery are well worth a tasting!

Koonwarra Food & Wine Store - delicious food and lovely selection of wines followed by a stroll along Koonwarra to Leongatha stretch of Southern Rail Trail

Meeniyan - is also worth a visit with Moo’s cafe/restaurant, Trulli Woodfire Pizzeria (real Italian food) a lovely gallery and some nice gift shops.

Kernot – The ‘Kernot Food & Wine Store’ is an absolute treat. Great pizzas, local wines, music on weekends and heaps of character!

Leongatha – ‘The Rusty Windmill’ café and McCartin’s Hotel (Pub Grub)

Fish Creek - the Fish Creek pub is a beautiful art deco building and there are a number of interesting galleries and wineries in the area (Waratah Hills Vineyard is very good)

Inverloch - Tomo’s Japanese, Beach Box Cafe, Invy Espy pub, Dirty Three Wines’ tasting room and RACV Inveroch restaurant are all good places to go.
