I live on the premises in the main front house, but I respect the privacy of my apartment guests and try to keep interaction to a minimum. I can always be reached via phone/text/e-mail.

Arlington Heights is a 1-square-mile high density, highly diverse residential neighborhood comprised of single family residences and multi-family units built primarily in the early to mid 1900's. It features a mix of families that have lived in the area for generations as well as newer residents.

Given the fact that the neighborhood consists of a combination of residential and commercial buildings, homeowners, renters, adults, young children, and pets all in close proximity to each other, occasional "big-city" noises and sounds do occur from time to time and are to be expected, especially during warmer weather, weekends, and around holidays. Therefore, if you require a sound-proofed, library-quiet environment at all times, this is probably not a good fit (or you just might want to bring ear plugs).

The apartment is a few blocks from the I-10 Santa Monica freeway and close to public transportation options. Uber and Lyft both service this area.

The apartment is within a short drive to Downtown, Staples Center, Los Angeles Convention Center, USC, Exposition Park, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Thai Town, Miracle Mile/Museum Mile (LACMA), The Grove, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Culver City, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, UCLA, the Getty Center, and the "Big 6" major film studios.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
- Metro Bus line 33 travels to Downtown and the beach cities (Venice and Santa Monica).
- Metro Bus line 210 travels to Hollywood and the South Bay Galleria.
- The LADOT DASH bus number 1425 (Midtown Route) takes you to the Pico/Rampau Transit Center, which has connections to several Metro buses and the Big Blue Bus.

Large/full-sized vehicles are not recommended due to the narrow driveway that leads to the parking area.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

SECURITY
- Keep pedestrian gate in front of the main house closed at all times to prevent stray animals from entering the premises.
- Do not feed stray/neighborhood animals on the premises (cats, birds, etc.)

INTERNET
- WiFi is provided as a courtesy and is shared with other guests on the premises. Please be considerate of Internet bandwidth usage.
- Do not transfer any illegal/copyrighted content.
- Host is not responsible for Internet outages or performance issues.

HOUSEKEEPING
- Store and dispose of food properly after eating
- Open bathroom window for at least 30 minutes after bathing to ventilate the room

COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY
- No film production, for-profit photography, etc. inside the apartment or anywhere on the premises without host's prior approval

KEYS/REMOTES
- For any keys not returned upon check-out, a $50 fee will be deducted from security deposit to re-key locks.
- For any remotes (gate opener) not returned upon check-out, a $50 replacement fee will be deducted from security deposit.

This was my first time ever using airbnb and staying at Jesse's place and I can say that I loved it. The place was small and cozy. We had everything we needed inside the apartment. The location made was close to a lot of LA's attractions. Jesse was quick to respond to our needs and any questions we had. He gave us all the privacy we wanted. I would definitely stay here again.

Jesse's place was exactly as expected and was clean, comfortable and close to everything. We have no complaints! We changed our reservations a few times and Jesse was prompt each time in communication and had no problem at all adjusting our schedule. Would stay if in the area again.

The place is pretty awesome in itself! The neighborhood is very scary lol well at night at least. It's close to Hollywood and dtla. The overall stay was wonderful! Thank you Jesse

Jesse responds quite quickly to messages. I personally had to leave my reservation early due to being sick and the excess noise at the location.

Excellent location, convenient access to other parts of the city. Liked the kitchenette and having the option to cook some meals. At times a little noisy but overall great.
