We came here for a wedding nearby (Windswept Farms - outstanding venue!), and couldn't have asked for better AirBNB lodgings in such a far-flung place like Glover. Busy Bee Diner being across the street along with a well-stocked general store next door, meant much of our needs were satisfied. Waking up to stroll across the street for pancakes with VT maple syrup and endless coffee - fantastic.

This is a wonderful home for a summer weekend getaway. Located in the heart of Glover, Page's home is walking distance to groceries, diners, and the adorable Red Sky Trading (which has delicious coffee and doughnuts!), plus is a scenic 20 minute drive from Lake Willoughby and just a 5 minute drive to Bread and Puppet Theater. The home is well-equipped for a large group and the kitchen has basic cooking necessities. We loved eating on the picnic table in the back yard beside the babbling brook. There is also a nice fire pit! However, there were some boundary issues with the next door neighbors, (who are harmless and quite cute young girls), but insisted on joining us when we were sitting or eating outside and would often come right up to the windows and look inside if we were in the house. They also asked multiple times for the code to get inside the house.

The house was centrally located--right off the highway on the main drag in Glover. There were a couple of stores within walking distance, a playground at the school up the road, Bread & Puppet is a 5-minute drive away, and Parker Pies is a 10-minute drive. We went there 4 times in 6 days! It's a lovely space for families--with a big yard, trees to climb, picnic tables, and dog-friendly. Beautiful lakes (Crystal, Shadow, Willoughby) 10-30 minutes away. Also, makes a nice base for cycling through the NEK. The yard is fairly small and it's not fenced. This was fine for us, but may pose a problem for some dogs & small kids. The living room is cozy--just like it looks in the photo. This would be fine for one family, but tight for two families. Finally, the fridge is mini (as the picture shows), with a tiny freezer slot. Page was very responsive to text messages and answered our questions promptly. Possibly a better winter rental than summer rental, as some windows couldn't be opened or didn't have screens to keep mosquitoes out. We were very warm at night, despite that temperatures were in the 50s outside.

We enjoyed our stay, unfortunately we were not able to stay longer, our kids didn't want to leave! The King bed was amazing, although it didn't look like it would be, the best nights' sleep we had in a long time! There was plenty of room for all and then some and the house was fully stocked, just bring your clothes. Anything you might need is within walking distance, we had a great time and the neighbors kept us entertained.

The house is clean and there is plenty of space. Well equipped and family friendly. Good location. We went to a trip to Jay Peak (30 mins away) and 10 of us stayed in the house. Page keeps a good communication. All of us were pleased.
