The ideal touring base for the Wild Atlantic Way, West of Ireland or a countryside retreat. Located 2.4KM from Kiltimagh and 4.8KM from Knock. Its a haven for those wanting to enjoy Irish countryside, and is driving distance of more adventurous activities and attraction.

The house named ‘Nephin’ is nestled approximately halfway between Kiltimagh and Knock within picturesque countryside in County Mayo and conveniently located centrally within the West of Ireland making it an ideal touring base for the best of what Connaught has to offer.

Kiltimagh the nearest town, has a wide variety of shops, restaurants and hotels for dining out and many cosy pubs with traditional Irish music for night time craic.

The house is newly decorated throughout with all modern furniture, fixtures and fittings to an exceptional standard. It’s luxurious and very spacious with 4 double bedrooms, 3 of which have new en-suites, including a double bedroom en-suite on the ground floor, in addition to a single bedroom and bathroom with luxurious large corner bath with shower. With its spacious secure garden, it’s an ideal house for children to play in the playhouse and sand pit and for adults to relax and enjoy the scenic countryside views from the well maintained gardens.
Accommodation includes 2 lounges with open hearth fires and leather/upholstery suites, fully fitted kitchen/dining room, utility room, 4 double bedrooms (3 of which have en-suite bathrooms) and 1 single bedroom incl. 3 double beds, 1 super king size and 1 single bed. Main bathroom has large corner bath with shower over bath.

Kiltimagh, a picturesque town in the heart of the county is centrally located for touring the West. Kiltimagh is much admired by visitors for its beautiful 19th century artisan village theme evident in the shop facades and the Market Square.
There are many holiday activities on offer also, - country walks with maps supplied, that will satisfy everyone from the Sunday stroller to the experienced hiker, mountain biking, fishing, pitch & putt, a fully supervised children’s venture fun park, fishing, golf, walking, cycling, horse-riding/trekking, mapped walking routes, museums, sculpture park, cosy pubs, restaurants and much more. Kiltimagh Pet Farm and Wildlife Park; A variety of exotic and domestic animals to see. Open seven days a week 10am to 6pm, on the outskirts of Kiltimagh.
Old Railway Station in Kiltimagh; which houses the Town Museum, Station Master's Exhibition Centre and Sculpture Park. Open 2pm-6pm daily, from June to September.
Castlebar Golf Club; 18-hole course with sand based green and tees. Visitors welcome and golf clubs, trolleys and caddies can be hired in advance and restaurant also available, and green fees can be booked online.

The town hosts 3 major festival each year – firstly the St. Patrick's Day Pageant and Parade in Kiltimagh is a seven day celebration in mid March of Irish tradition and culture.
Each July, the town host’s the Race2Glory, which is a multi-sport race involving running (including a river section) and cycling. There are 2 course options ‘Full Race’ 40KM and ‘Spirit Race’ (20KM) thereby catering for all abilities and fitness levels.
Also in July is the ‘Coillte Come Home’ annual festival which has numerous activities and caters for families and all age and interest groups.

Kiltimagh, with its central location, wonderful attractions and amenities, provides an ideal base for touring the West. Just one hour from Sligo, Galway, Westport and Achill, 20 minutes from Ireland West Airport Knock and less than 10 minutes from Knock Marian Shrine.
