Thanks for the review Liz. As mentioned to you previously, it happened to be raining and cloudy during your stay, so with the trees around us, it does feel darker when the weather turns in Whistler. However, it is bright when the sun is shining.
I apologize if the instructions seemed long. My intention with this was to help guests have a great stay and know where to find the essentials (location of parking stalls, garbage room, wifi passwords, extra toilet paper, etc.)
As for the cleaning charge - it's actually less than what most people charge in Whistler (cleaning companies charge minimum $160/day and I charged $100). Also, the fee is clearly stated at the time of booking with AirBNB so it was not a hidden charge. I'm sorry you felt it was high but if that was the case, I think you should have looked for a different accommodation option.
