We're very disappointed that these guests were unhappy as they gave no indication at the time that there was anything wrong. Had they done so we would have immediately sent our cleaners round to fix it. Having inspected the flat before they arrived, I have to say that the description of the kitchen is very unfair, but these guests chose to buy and use paper plates and plastic cutlery rather than use the clean plates and cutlery that came with the flat. The smell from the common area was, alas, due to a neighbour's cat, over which we have no control. That however is not in our apartment. As for 2 stars for location... I can only say the flat is where it is and that is quite clearly indicated on the map. It is in a Victorian London street 5 minutes from the station, and then 10 minutes into central London. The price reflects its location - at around £70 per night for four people, we feel it's excellent value. Two hotel rooms in central London would cost at least four times this. Any guests booking can be sure they flat will be spotless and if there is any problem, a phone call will have it fixed.
