We just joined Airbnb. Adriana Henthorn from Arkansas is only the second guest that we have had. We want to be a top rate Airbnb and will do all we can to be just that.
Read Adriana's review above that says "Vv fej", I have no idea why what it means.
During the booking, Adriana stated that only one person would be staying as our guest which was not true. So she saw the cost 10 days for only one person not three.
I increased the cost per night for her husband and child who would be staying. I informed them by email that there would be an additional charge because there were three people not one.
Her husband called me on my cell phone and was not happy because he said that we had accepted their reservation for one person and they expected that price.
Because I am trying to promote good will and get good ratings, I told them they could stay at the rate for one person, despite there were three.
The day before checkout, I texted them and asked what time they would check out on August 10th. The husband texted me and told me 10 am. I texted him and told him that I would be there by 9:45 am to check them out.
I traveled a total of 28 miles to check them out and arrived at 9:45 am.
No one was there and the key was left in the door unlocked. I went in and found that a brand new blind was torn up likely by the child and trash was on the porch - not what I expected.
Despite this I gave them a five star rating and welcomed them back because I want good will and everyone's business.
Despite all my good will on my part, the husband and or the wife gave a low rating on an accurate description of the accommodations because I did not have WiFi, etc.
They obviously did not read my write up that said we do not offer cable or WiFi. There are TVs & videos.
I accurately described what we offered and I thought we made that clear in our Airbnb description.
Regardless, I am going to re write the description and in the first paragraph clearly state we are offering a simple two bedroom country cabin with hardwood floors, no frills, no WiFi, and window AC units. As far as AC, a new window unit was added before their visit. be a top.
As far as being clean, I paid for maid services before their stay. The floors were mopped with disinfect and all linens washed. Did they miss a speck of dirt? I did not see it but not impossible.
The back up for the above comments are documented in my description of premises, emails, and texts. My cleaning people can testify for cleanliness.
