It’s really to bad when a guest doesn’t share their concerns with the host. If Eva was having such problems I could have addressed them at the time. But since she chose to give me such a bad revue instead, please let me explain.
The structure started out as a simple shed with 2 lofts and 4 windows. My carpenter husband updated the shed to include sheet rock and insulation, we chose to leave the top portion as it was for the barn/cabin effect (as at that time it was my art studio). When I decided to make it into the Trippy Hippie Getaway I added an old oriental, wool rug (Yes Eva, it covers a plain wood floor). I, of course, deep cleaned the rug only 2 months before Eva visited, vacuumed before she arrived. The a/c runs on high cool, which I informed her when she arrived. It gets so cold it leaves condensation on the windows. All the amenities work fine and all the linens were there. Also, as for the shower, when you add cold water to hot water you get warm water.
Because, after she left, she complained of mold we took a mold test and THERE IS NO MOLD! I pressure washed the outside of the cabin to get off any green from all the rain we had recently.
Eva cancelled at the last min before her last day, by messaging me and DEMANDING full refund. I may have considered if she had given me a chance. I stood talking to her for 10min at the open door and she said nothing about smells or the cabin being dirty. She did suddenly remember it was a holiday tho.
Thank you for taking the time to read my side of the story.
